Out of all of them what do you think is the best?
Right now? Maybe alchemy I guess. Iāve heard you can still make some gold that way.
I took engi for wormhole and alchemy for more flask time. They sit at lol 1 lmao. Maybe with new expansion Iāll bother Lvling one.
Engineering. Itās the most fun and useful (personally.)
However, I donāt think you make much money with it. Maybe if you craft and sell mounts and pets?
Objectively engineering
This is the way
If weāre talking crafting professions, Iād say Alchemy. Itās virtually always useful and profitable.
With few exceptions (like the lull between expansions), consumables are always in demand. It never gets overshadowed by new patches/gear making what it produces obsolete like armor/weapon profs tend to.
At the very least, Alchemy allows you to make your own consumables so you donāt have to spend your gold at the AH for them. Depending on the expansion, transmutes can also be valuable.
As an alternative, Iād say Enchanting. Much like Alchemyās consumables, Enchants are still in demand with each new content patch/tier. That said, enchants are a āone and done until you get a new piece of gearā type of consumable, so they donāt see the constant turnover that Alchemy consumable sales might see.
And, like Alchemy, Enchanting provides, if nothing else, the ability to enchant your own gear so you donāt have to buy enchants. As an additional bonus, Enchanting provides its own gathering built in, allowing you to disenchant unneeded items you pick up from quests, drops, or when you replace gear. In turn, you can sell those mats, or save them for future enchants.
Having many alts.
Yeah. Alchemy has been pretty consistently profitable thoughout the entire x-packā¦even in the early bot days.
Plus, the extended flask timer can save a lot of gold depending on what content you do.
Engineering, Jewelcrafting, and Alchemy
For the simple reason that I like 'em the most!
That or just picking flowers or mining, but at the same time, I am so sick of only having access to one mount as a herbalist so I donāt think I quite like the profession as much anymore
I dunno if thereās a solid ābestā right now. Professions have been stuck in this rut where theyāre useful for the start of an expansion, then fall off pretty hard.
Iāll say Alchemy in general: Potions and flasks are always in demand.
Best profession is based on the player.
Death Knight - If you canāt move beyond WotLK
Demon Hunter - If you canāt move beyond Legion
Druid - If you like to blow through everything with ease
Evoker - If you like no choices
Hunter - If you like infinite possibilities with pets
Paladin - If you like the only TRUE HEROIC CLASS
Priest - If you like a very complicated spell rotation
Mage - Only if you like Fire Mage spec
Monk - If you canāt move beyond MoP
Rogue - If you like trying to survive constantly
Shaman - If you like playing 2nd fiddle to Druid
Warlock - If you like naughty demons running around⦠Mmm! Whip!!!
Hustlin is the best profession.

Space cowboy
I make gold off of all of them. Crafting professions are the most lucrative for me, since I do not do much farming via gathering. I probably should, but meh, if I am multiboxing, I find it super irritating. Iād just rather craft, and buy most mats off the ah.
Herbalism!
Itās how I got my last two levels when I got bored of SL questing during the XP buff.
