I realize they’re not the Gods they once were during Legion/BFA, but are they viable at like a 10-15 key range in a non-top tier player setting? Frankly after getting gear capped on my main in PVP I miss the playstyle of Havoc and want to start running one in PVE content again. I realize I’ll have to level my own keys since they aren’t FoTM but that’s not an issue, I always do that anyway. Just trying to get a consensus view on them from people that might know.
I’m a ksm havoc. It is definitely possible. Just expect to have a hard time getting a group unless your keys are all 14/15s
Havoc isn’t in a good stop, but they aren’t exactly bad in m+. Have a little harder time on tyrannical weeks cause the ST is just weak. Because of the aoe strengths I still finish the dungeons with average 5k dps
We get double jump and people who decline you are just JEALOUS.
I do love the double jump and glide… It is so helpful in a couple of places. Soa can glide some platforms. Top can just dash back when getting knocked by that kick off from the Lich side
Yeah you switch vengeance and use Guerrilla war hit and run tactics
Vdh is getting a nice little nerf in 9.0.5 from what I hear.
Unless they stop wearing Adidas and move to beach sandal wear . I do not think it would matter
Community perception is ‘‘they suck’’
I’ve seen a few do just fine in 10-15.
If you aren’t going for gold medal (lol)
Most specs are pretty viable, just a matter of what’s more efficient.
If you enjoy it, go for it
Adidas? No way, gotta be Nike to jump and run like that. As Nike’s slogan says… “just do it”
That’s what it’s all about, man. lol I miss DJ’ing and fel rushing all over the place, and how the DPS kit feels fast. I almost leveled a monk for a minor DH feel but I just miss playing one. lol
It’s true, most DH players that aren’t playing it for being meta(or said as meta) just has a hard time playing other classes. The fast pace feel of DH is actually enjoyable.
We are “okay” in M+ because we at least have two reasonable AOE abilities. Glaive Tempest is real nice for passive AOE, and Eye beam with the collective anguish Legend offers good burst AOE.
We just suck when going into the bosses though because AOE is one of the only things we have.
Common scenario: Last spot for a 15, there’s 30 dps in queue, 25 of which are melee. There’s no reason to pick a Havoc over a rdps, monk or rogue.
Single Target isn’t all that great
Despite what people say you can havoc is very good in mythic+ all around… Vengeance just happens to be better. But, declining havoc should not be a trend either way.
End game in raids on cleave and aoe heavy fights you can also do very well… except for pure single target fights…
Oh I fully anticipate running my own keys, I always have. I’m not massively concerned with it anyway, my main is gear capped so this is more a hobby toon I guess–just wanted to see where they were at since I haven’t done any PVE this season excluding beating the raid a couple times for conduits.
Well it’s not just the double jump.
It’s also the sexy leather outfits.
Lol.
What best ST attack auto attack nerf where you don’t get a weapon. If you don’t believe me look next time they attack at a ST.
Oh we cannot allow you to kite, breaks legs.
AOE no more aoe. So, yeah.
VDH so op lol.
What?
I hear vdh’s nerf was conduit or something… something from 60% chance down to 36% chance. Anyways I’m not god with vdh so I don’t know the details.
One of the nerfs could be considered a buff but there’s another nerf to the kyrian sigil bonus damage conduit and they’re changing how the necrolord ability works for them.
