Today Wowhead reported that someone else had reported that SC first-person shooter was cancelled for Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2?! This can’t be true. Can someone please provide me with what’s really going on?

I’m glad they’re focusing on Diablo 4 over StarCraft. Fight me.

I didn’t even know they were working on a SC fps. Doesnt seem like a big loss though tbh.

I would rather have a Starcraft first person shooter then Overwatch 2.
I am glad that Diablo 4 is getting more focus.

Yeah, I felt like I was gonna be sick when I read that mess…and of all games for another Overwatch? I’m happy for the Diablo people but not another OW. I wish they would’ve given SC a chance atleast.

Overwatch 2 is just a working title. It’s going to be an expac for that focuses on PvE, kinda like a campaign mode. It’s not really Overwatch 2.

The StarCraft shooter was made using the Overwatch engine but was very early in development. They cancelled it to focus on other things. (I just read all of this in an article.)

Which project were all the top dogs from all platforms pulled from then I wonder. OW 2 or the SC FPS one.

Same here. I know Blizzard was working on another fps but didn’t know 2 of them. IMO not sure why they need a new Overwatch already unless they are plan on using a battle royale. Hell, they can’t even fix comp mode.

Nice to hear about D4 though. I hope they make major improvements. I will always be a Diablo fan.
