They are deleting Shadowlands and retconning the lore as if Dragonflight immediately followed BFA.
Due to the merger and the amazing profits from bundle and mount sales, Microsoft has rewarded Blizzard. They hired John Travolta to read the entirety of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick at Blizzard HQ. Because of the the expense, all Blizzard employees are required to attend. Microsoft has also provided unlimited Fruit Punch Hi-C and unfrosted strawberry poptarts for the staff during this time.
