Finally got to level 25 with the Iskaara.
Go to the vendor to buy the otter mount, or maybe both otter mounts, depends on what I need.
2x Mastadon Tusk
2x Aquatic Maw
750x Supplies
Aquatic Maw is dirt cheap, I buy 4 so I can get both otters
Go to buy the Mastadon Tusk. None. ZERO. I am on Tich, formerly one of if not the most populated horde population servers. NOT A SINGLE TUSK.
I go try to farm some up in various locations, including the Fyrakk invasion area.
2 hours later, ZERO.
Is this normal??
What kind of drop rate are we talking about to where there isn’t a SINGLE tusk on the AH?
Rough estimates are on Wowhead, but not really that accurate, considering not everyone gives their data to Wowhead. But it’s at least something to go off of. I’d say it’s probably closer to a 15% droprate, but that’s a guess.
Time to go farm some tusks and put them on the AH!
Or possibly a spelling issue on the search in the AH by the OP? Title of the thread says “MASTADON TUSKs” but the item is actually “mastodon tusk”.
Whenever I don’t find something in the AH, 4 out of 5 times, I realize I misspelled something or mistyped it or somehow got the name wrong or searched the wrong category.
