What's better?

$25 dollar headphones from five and below or the ROG Delta S Evangelion? Imo, I think the $25 dollar headphones are better. Or even the OG airpods. Because the Delta S is so bad, the audio is muffled just omg i hate them

Pretty sure both are made in the same factory.
The difference being the plastic shell over the ear muffs and the shell over the headband on the $300 version.

In the game settings under Audio turn up the number of audio channels to 128 and increase the audio cache size to 128mb. It s the same thing as that “simulated” surround sound you get from 2 speaker headphones. Now your $25 headphones sound just as good as the $300 pair.

btw, the ones with the removable mic boom are junk. No matter how much they cost the boom socket always wears and allows it to fall out.

I’ve never had any issues before, but I bought new headphones today the Delta S and wow, so many issues. The audio quality on these things are weird, its all muffled, soft, etc. feel like I accidentally just bought knock offs

Mine have never fallen out, only once but that was because I put it in wrong.

they usually included some sort of equalizer software with the “driver”.

If the ROGs are USB then you don’t need anything to run them. Just plug them in and good to go.

You luck may vary.

I’ve spent ignorant amounts of money on PC “gaming” gear over the years. After it all is said and done. I won’t be buying any more of the those style ones.

The longest lived and best sounding head phones I’ve ever had are a pair of bestbuy store brand knockoffs I got for $15 10 years ago. (edit: I’m still using them)

Try my audio settings with your old headphones and your new ROGs. See if you can hear a $275 difference.

My other ones sound perfectly fine, the Evangelion Delta S sound like I just bought them from the dollar store for $10 pre owned from a fortnite kid and ran over 20 times by a car.
