Hello…I know about big debugfs but I was wondering if there was an addon that literally told me when to dispell like with an audio cue or a blinking nameplate or something. I am a decent healer but for whatever reason I seem to just flake out on dispelling. What add-ons are people using to display in a big bold unmissable way? Thanks.

Weak auras works for players? Lol. It’s so hard for me to figure out. I didn’t know I could put weak auras on my party members.
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/bigdebuffs or similar to make debuffs larger on frames (the default ones are SO SMALL).
And then turn on the option in settings to only display debuffs you can dispel. Then you dispel every one that pops up.
I think more noise etc would just add to the stimuli load that already exists in dungeons - for me it’d be more annoying than anything.
And make sure your party frame is somewhere somewhat central to the screen, so it’s not far from where you’re always looking - I know some new players keep their frame at the left, which is bad.

Weak Auras can track just about anything.
For example you can make an Aura that looks for Debuffs on your party that you can dispel and give you an audible cue if you like.
Weak Auras can seem overwhelming but I think it’s work it to learn.

Correct, the dispellable debuffs will appear on your party or raid frames as they come up.
Remember to toggle the setting that only shows dispellable debuffs.

Alrighty thank you I’ll sit down and start going through it. It just always seems like a massive wall of stuff to me. Kinda overwhelming. But I see most of the better players using it pretty extensively so I guess I should give it a shot.

Have learnt to just turn off elements I don’t want until I figure out what each child does what specifically. Everything on by default is a bit… wtf…

Question: why and how? What about dispelling debuffs have you “flake out” on it?
I’m personally not a fan of using addons just to cover up where I need to get better. So whilst addons unmistakably can help, I wanna get an idea as to why you are having issues.
I’ve used Decurisve for years… it’s pretty obvious when someone gets a debuff that you CAN dispel as it plays a sound and highlights a set of “dispel frames” (one per player in your party/raid).
Weak Auras are very flexible, but if you don’t know what you’re doing (how to define triggers and look up spell_IDs) it can be a bit daunting, so an add-on may still be the easiest solution for you.

I just don’t see them. I use raid style party frames horizontal so it’s usually just 5 green boxes that don’t really show anything but my hot. On pvp all I see are the nameplates and never know when to dispell unless I actively see the spell or abilities being applied. So it just sort of leaves my mind. If I had something like yelling at me …lmao. It would make it easier.
Ehanced raid frames is what i use for resto its like big debuffs but more customizable with hots and dots so i can keep tracking all my hots but have dispels set pretty large on the raid profiles so i wont miss them.
Can also set them with different sizes and positions to different types of debuffs so curses and poisons druids can dispel i have extra big while diseases i cant really help with are normal sized.
weakauras can have audio queues but its pretty in depth unles you can find a profile thats already got it all done to copy paste.

The only healing add on i use is grid2.
When someone gets something you can dispell there’s an outline around their name bar.

You could turn on “Display only dispellable debuffs” in the settings. Most addons that show dispels typically don’t do much other than that anyway. But you mentioned PvP as well, is it a case that you want to be able to see all dispels that players cast in a PvP match and that’s what makes said debuffs get lost?
I use vuhdo for dispells. If it’s purple or blue then I dispell.
Weak Auras has some default auras built in that might help get you started. There’s also a number of tutorials on Youtube.
Finally, Wago is a website of user made Weak Auras and Plater profiles to check out. Sometimes it can be helpful to see how someone else built an Aura that’s similar to what you’re after.
