For me, it’s patch 8.3, I loved doing bfa content, I loved Kul’tiras and I loved getting the allied races. I loved m+ and Nylotha even though my computer could barely handle the N’zoth fight, I still got AOTC and the uncorrupted voidwing. I had a fun guild that unfortunately died shortly after Shadowlands released. Which is when I took a 1 1/2 year break.
It’s probably just nostalgia speaking, but the entire MoP experience (especially patch 5.1 onwards) is what I really view as my “golden era” in the game. It’s just so baked into my memory—marauding between the Horde and Alliance bases in Krasarang wilds, going out on weekly 5.1 quests, adventuring the Isle of Thunder, etc.
thats when we had crazy corruptions right?
i did enjoy it while it was current but it was bad in the grand scheme of things. it totally killed arms for me. no way i play arms now after trying it with ~70% haste lol.
dead to me.
Classic wow
I still remember my first time playing wow as undead warrior in deathknell nothing was more fun than that
WoD. sitting in Ashran all day long
Cataclysm. Bastion of Twilight, Throne of the four winds, blackwing decent and firelands were perfection. First time I was part of a guild. Felt good.
The only thing that was bad about Cataclysm was DS lasting over a year.
BC and getting to 70.
I am sure I am in the minority but the first 3 months of shadowlands were the most fun fiorme… Mainly due to the pandemic so I could actually join a raiding guild and work towards downing bosses together…Normally i work too much to be acregular raider…Ahh good times… Now back to work
BFA was so great! It felt like Warcraft.
For me, it’s Wrath and Legion. Very close between those two.
Also had a lot of fun in the final patch of BfA.
Unlocking Vulpera
4:20.
Raiding Nighthold with my guild. I love that raid.
I ended up getting my 4-set the first week the raid was open. We full-cleared normal in one night, which gave me two pieces, and we got reasonably far into Heroic, in which I got two more.
WOTLK for sure. Just so many friends and good times running dungeons and raids and PvP. I was excited for wrath classic but have realized I won’t be playing it. I’m just older now and losing the QOL changes is a no for me. I’d probably play if RDF still existed and I didn’t have to spend most of my time begging for groups and running everywhere.
First time playing during bc. Everything about it.
I dk,toss up between cata and mist ,I did more raiding and dungeons in cata ,so guess it would that.
I’d have to say up to WOTLK. Enjoyed every class, profession(miss inscription so much), dungeons, battlegrounds, questing, farming, grinding for gear. Didn’t have to worry about Raiding or Arena as it didn’t effect PvP all that much as the power gap didn’t seem all that great. Got to say Legion was a great expansion as well. Classes all felt new, lots of lore, class quests were great, Class Halls, Artifact weapons.
Mop mop mop
All of mop
Running on the ground mechanohog with my friend in the passenger seat farming warbringers while waiting for battleground queues and listening to music together while on skype calls was just a great time. Nothing in shadowlands has felt close to mop warbringers
This and all of this MOP was and still is my most favorite expansion.
