Its a low level character geared to it maximum potential or having low level cheese higher level content due to broken overpowered gear.

Itâs not just about PvP. Historically there have been a lot of players who stopped their xp so they could do dungeons and raids in certain expansions. They formed guilds and ran those raids. I had several twinks at level 75 who could run heroic BC dungeons and some normal wrath dungeons. I also had a 98 tank (this character) and a 98 disc priest who could do normal wod and legion dungeons, and a 100 who could do wod heroic dungeons.
FWIW, I am a twink and a bear and female. Mind-blowing, eh?

The way Iâve always used it, is to describe alts that get fed gear from higher levels. This makes it easier to play, and I call these alts âtwinksâ.
Twink characters got a bad rap in pvp circles because of the unfair fights between well geared, optimized, characters fighting against characters using what they found while leveling.
Thatâs my take on the word âtwinkâ.

Twinks generally are looking for Bears. But alot of Twinks are also powerbottoms

The term twink has been used for far longer in a certain alternative culture. It means a young looking gay male, that isnât actually young. Think soyboy or w/e term is used these days to describe that body morph.
The whole point of the term twink being used in games is to indicate the same thing: A character that looks low, but is actually much higher level through gearing.

And get the best you gear you ca for your level, becoming anywhere from the Mythic geared equivalent of say a level 25, up to being near god tier like we were when we could get like 100% dodge on a level 10 I think it was
@OP, this character has XP off, inspect its equipment to get a general idea of what a twink may look like out in the world.
I donât pvp twink, I do PVE, I geared re geared due to chromie TW.
Currently our level 25 twinks, are for PVE are a bit dead in the water, as we were leve 60s, and we were geared to stomp the 60 raids.
60 raids now have a requirement of level 30. So our previously level 60s, such as this toon, are no longer able to form groups to take on our pve content.
Itâs a shame, however that just leaves me to slaughtering players in other zones due to boredom.
Most PVE twinks will now be built around the level 30 raids, while PVP twinks generally 19, 29, 39, and 49.
