As I am tracking my progress wanted to get advice from the wealth of very informed players on what is considered a respectable Win/Loss Ratio?
Win\loss doesn’t matter
Doesn’t matter, if you go up rating without getting boosted it’s fine
But mmr is designed so that you go 50-50 at your max rating
Winrate doesn’t really matter, although if yours is scuffed you might have a harder time finding partners.
ah ok, that’s interesting so the higher one climbs in rating the man( blizzard) tries to keep my ego in check by making me a 50/50 player?
The way the system works is that it pushes you up (or down) to the MMR at which it thinks you’ll win roughly half of your matches. Having a high wr usually just means that you haven’t played enough.
Exactly this, my 2s wr is good but I haven’t queued 2s since people started getting tier/double lego
Whatever is your personal best. Try to be better than you were yesterday and don’t worry about what others think is respectable.
Shut up dozer alt
thank you, everyone, so far I am really enjoying the journey and feel blessed to have such a chill team. I won’t worry about W/L and just keep enjoying I am sure we will climb and be where we are meant to be.
this is a very very good question
Don’t make it so obvious you are replying to yourself. You may have something going here.
what?
can you repeat the question
Oof!
Mikey’s not gonna like this!
your lucky
i cant even get a group period-- even with people who say they are chill jsut learning.
and thats with my pvp ilvl 262 monk/paladin/surv hunter
its dumb
i cant wait for dragon lands where it seems that gear will take a back seat
100% of the gear gate is just dumb and not needed they can reward people in other ways like before
I am sure more people would rather lose to an outplay than some overgeared andy
You aren’t wrong, but I also suspect the majority of people lose because they play poorly and then incorrectly blame it on gear.
I am curious to see what the complaints look like when gear is equalized again in DL. I’m sure it will just return to “blah blah spec is broken, that’s why I’m losing!”
Imagine if every time you helped carry your friends through a m+ and it didn’t go perfectly, your m+ score went down.
