Besides rogue, whats a good world pvp class? For roaming, etc? And for defending yourself from ganks and whatnot. Thanks.

Deep feral is good enough they got decent damage to boot when geared. Also don’t forget Prowl so you have an advantage there.

With the heart of the wild spec’d Druid the sky’s the limit when it comes to outdoor PvP.
You’ll go down to 5/5 hotw for feral talents and pick up nature’s swiftness in the resto talents.
Lock, Druid, Hunter, Ele sham, S-Priest, hell anything but Warrior in reality unless you want to burn a crazy amount of consumes.
If you’re not opposed to chugging consumes on CD then warrior is also a great pick but requires some serious gear.

A war with MoM is in a league of its own.
Warrior 1v1 is pretty rough. Your uptime on target against anyone who knows how to play against Warrior is going to be low and if they really know what they are doing it will be basically nothing. So yes, with gear you can delete big chunks of their healthbar every time you actually can hit them. We are just too easy to kite and take away that uptime.
Now, if you are lucky enough to duo in World PVP with a friend who plays any of the healing classes you become very strong and can beat a lot of 2vX situations.
For 1v1 I think my top pick is Shadow Priest if I was doing this.

Elemental shaman with engineering.
A group of elemental shamans can carry AV, and do any 5 man dungeon with or without a tank.

I agree, S-Priest is likely to be the most user friendly due to how unbelievably easy the skill floor is. Two spell schools that anybody with a brain will cry realizing they can only kick one unless mage talented blanket.
Top that of with literally the easiest damage output in wow classic era, there is zero way to go wrong., hell if you’re smart you for hire the healing to fund the S-priest god mode.,
Couple S-priest with the same consumes anyone else uses and you basically dunk on everything excluding a really well played lock, and they gotta seriously outplay to win.
S-Priest is kinda nuts solo, but for organised group play of any kind they kinda fall off, but that is ok because its a seriously OP solo class.

Locks are wpvp gods but only when 60 and geared imo.
Lock has two big weaknesses in wpvp that can be exploited.

They typically aren’t replenishing shards as often as they would in a bg.

They REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY suck recovering from death. Rez at low health/mana with no pet, healthstone, demon armor, and only enough mana to do 1 of those things… Legit have to rez, mount up and run off, then rebuff/resummon/rehealthstone while drinking/eating at least twice for the mana to get those things back. VERY vulnerable class coming off a rez and super easy to camp.

Except you will never kill anybody in todays wow. But you can run from everyone like a professional track star.
Deep feral literally worse pvp spec in classic. There needs to be requirements to respond to pvp questions geeeeeeeeeeeeees
Geared warrior with faps is nearly unbeatable if they’re good.
Hunter with the right gear and Engi is a tough kill. Ele sham is broken op. Spriest is stupid good but drinks like an alcoholic.
Still mage best over all for all shenanigans world pvp

In 1v1 or 1vN world pvp situation,
S tier-you can reset easily and capable of 1vN if you are skilled
-Rogue, Mage
S- tier - really good
Hunter, elemental shaman
A tier- very good but has limitations in some ways
Shadow priest, Warlock,Druid
?? Tier-
warrior, requires lots of toys and gears(golds) to even start pvp. Need consumables every fight. Have chance against every class if well played and with some luck except mage and spriest. But rank 14 is the best looking set in the game.
Meme tier-
Ret Paladin, Enhance Shaman
Can kill anyone if lucky and with full cds/toys But most time meme spec imo.
If memory serves and leaving out rogue, hunter and druid both were very good. Then again, anyone that played their class really well was a force.
Think this is backwards.
Hunter has deadzone and the leeway mechanic that is abusable to deal with.
Spriest beats almost everything 1v1
Warlock is hands down God tier when geared out
This ranking is my opinion for open world pvp.
Rogue and mage can do well when get opened or 1vN. And can avoid the fight easily too.
Hunter is very good if well played but is harder against multiples players.( still Hunter is very strong in world pvp)
Elemental shaman has no weakness except they can’t stop ppl from running nor run away from fights. But they can destroy almost everyone if they dare to stay.
Spriest and warlock is like elemental shaman, very strong in 1v1 duals. But in open world, their mobility is really weak, which means they are hard to finish the kill and easy to be camped.
