You want to make good gold, get in front of the Multiboxers and beat them to the ore and herbs! You must be in front though cuz there is nothing left after they get there first!
i dont want a whole lot. just a couple thousand in a day with a couple hours of farming. im mainly looking for reliability here.

I’d have to agree with this. If I’m really needing game gold, I can earn the money to buy a WoW token much quicker in real life than I could ever farm the same amount of gold in the game.
I just sold the 1000 hex bags I stockpiled over the last 6 months for 500k. Prob spent 1000 hours making em, buying the mats off the garrison trader, running WoD missions on 50 toons, restocking the tailoring joints. But what the hey, my time is worthless so it killed a few hours every morning.
Farm emissaries. No gold missions but you still have rep missions, across enough characters you won’t notice the loss. I hate to say it but I figure it will get nerfed once SL goes live anyway so no foul. Make money while you can.
Mats still sell in the AH, mog’s been down since prepatch. Old world mats are profitable again with the changes in professions.
