Of course, you know how many people are asking how to make easy gold ? Especially when it was about the 5M gold AH mount, its insane.
Like I said, if you want to make a lot gold and worth your time, boosting is the answer, other than that, you just have to wait untill someone or maybe yourself finds a good spot … There is a reason why there is so many bots before nerfs farming BFA/Legion/WoD mats, because they made so much gold through crafting and vendoring.
Well, if you got an army of alts and the 2K gold reward is up as an emissary quest, run your alts to that area, do the four WQ’s, turn it in, repeat. At this point, it’s typically 10-15 minutes per character. The average player in my experience has about 3-5 alts. That can be an easy 10K+, especially if you manage to get a cluster of WQs that are doing 100-200 gold as a reward.
helfire citadel on norm/heroic/mythic will net you anywhere between 9-11.5k gold more if you do LFR…that’s about per hour depending on how fast your toon(s) are
Always farm raw gold that can be vendored.
You can do 10 instances per hour.
Calculate which LFR, Dungeons or other that yields the most per 6 minutes.
10 instances per hour means 6 minutes per instance. Maximize this formula
One I do from time to time is an DHT farm using my Hunter’s Herbalism and Blacksmithing combo.
You farm the lashers, the trash right after the 1st boss (you can herb them when they die) for Dreamleaf and Bloods. Than you can sell the Dreamleaf Raw/Mill them and make Glyphs and use the Bloods to make Steelhound Harness.
It’s super mindless and I hate it, but it’s great GPH.
easiest way is like the other guy said do m+ boosts
if you do boosts at the start of an expansion you can generally make 60-80k per boost as opposed to ~17-19k now and can have tens of millions of gold extremely quickly
join boosting communities, the fastest way to get reliable runs. most require ~3k io which is achievable by anyone if you just dedicate some time to it. i find this much more enjoyable and easier than raw gold farming or playing the ah
Not since prepatch actually (I play the AH more so than farm, but it’s nice to farm every now and then).
I figure you can still solo it with a 50 easily enough.
If you have a toon that has 2 open professions, it’s not bad.
The only annoying part is getting to Rank 3 Dreamleaf and doing all the Blacksmithing Quests (you need Legion 100 Blacksmithing to learn Steelbound Harness, which drops off Tich in Nighthold.)
You can do the Lightning Steel Ingot daily CD aswell to make the MoP Reborn Weapons. Always good to have Transmogs to sell, but all Transmog sells slow so keep that in mind.
If you want a good, reliable gold farm then that will have to be making use of gathering professions.
There is no magic bullet get-rich-quick scheme in WoW, and whenever there is it is usually nerfed and/or oversaturated to the point of inefficiency.
WoW goblins and multi-millionaires make most of their gold through reliable, “boring” methods that don’t involve “epic 100k/gold an hour” farms.
Don’t believe in Gold/hour as an end-all-be-all either, because in the case of transmog the sale rate is extremely slow and could take years to sell all of the items that are listed as being worth 100k collectively.
