What's a good latency these days

70-80ms on illidan, but i’m on the west coast…so that’s understandable. if i go with an LA center, I’m about 50-60.

that’s right around where you want to be.

I get around 50-80 personally

I have 8-18 ms on Illidan most of the time.

there’s a website where you can check latency for your location… I want to say that it’s wowprogression, but idk.

I get 25/25 from Tasmania -> Sydney data centre (Oceanic)

It’s weird though, sometimes putting stuff in the guild bank feels like the bad old days of 350ms when we played on the US servers.

I have about 65ms latency when my internet is running smoothly. I live in Idaho, but I play on a west coast server.

I have about 200~ in any realm

My good server lag is about 40-50 ms on the East Coast and I’ll start to feel it if it goes over 100 ms but I can pretty comfortably play in anything under 300 as I run with Aussies and Kiwis frequently as that extra 22,000 miles adds a bit of lag.

I’m always steady at 32-34 on Sentinels and 50-59 on MG and WrA.

I get a pretty consistent 45 or so

I have 37 on Area 52 right in Zuldazar center, I’m on windowed mode.

I was averging around those, but lately mine has been:

18 MS
19 MS

I don’t know what happened. I’m still on the same server. I don’t know if Cox really upgraded the backbone or what.

same here. i am playing from Philippines and as of right now my ping is ~235ms as reported by Titan Panel

190-210ms

Australia Representing on Moon Guard!

Living in California, I get a 10-20 ms latency connecting to Pacific time servers.

If it’s stable and below 100 I’d say you’re fine. Above that you might start to really notice a difference.

I play on Thrall and my ping is never over 20.

I do pay for that good stuff internet though ^.^

Worth.

I play on a West coast server and I’m in Michigan. I get 69 ms (giggity).

23ms server
24ms Home

I get 130ish on A52 and Stormrage.

35ms on my east coast servers.

I would suggest picking a realm in your time zone, It seems to work better for me when I do it.
