What's a good ilvl for Normal Raid?

My guild did a minimum of ilvl 620, but I think most pugs are looking for 625 at least.

I mean if you wanna see the raid maybe, but you get better gear from delves and its 100% drop rate

you can easily complete it at 620 if everyone actually does mechs and presses their buttons. but most people now are probably expecting higher ilvl since delves etc.

That’s not relevant to the point I was making, which is that you can still get bad RNG either way. Also, I’m 647…

How are 647 and you go all same pieces from delve this week lol, looks like you did m+ too so it dont count

I dabbled in M+, did raids, and did delves.

Point I was making is that you can get bad RNG in delves too, even if you’re “guaranteed” a drop for each key…example, basically all of my keys this week were chestpieces (and I got the chestpiece I’m wearing LAST week).

I felt overgeared for it at ilvl 637, probably 620-630 would be ideal.

LFR requires 606 so theoretically since the rewards are 13 ilvls better, normal should require 619 to get started.

Yep! If you want DPS benchmarks, the median logs 25th percentile means, on your first time, that you are contributing enough. In normal this means:

Vexie - 1239k DPS
Cauldron - 864k DPS
Rik - 725k DPS
Stix - 1058k DPS
Sprocket - 870k DPS
Bandit - 1002k DPS
Mugzee - 936k DPS
Gallywix - 946k DPS

So if you are sustaining 1m single target damage on the target dummies, you’re probably ready for normal (even if the ilvls suggested above are higher).

I was 630 last night and was pulling on average 700k with no tier, enchants besides wep, and no embellishments. We still downed every boss cause the other guys were dps gods.

This will be like Golf where you are a god at the driving range but then you can’t hit the ball straight on the course.
