I’ve had so much fun playing my elemental shaman that I couldn’t really focus on any of my 9 or so level 80 characters this expansion.
Say what you want about the changes being a buff or a nerf but it’s definitely 80% nerf to fun-ness in PvP. For someone who liked the old play-style is there anything you would recommend I pick up next?
What is everyone else going to play?
I can’t bring myself to play another class after all these years of already enduring so much crap as an Ele. We are still in a much better place than we were just one expansion ago.
So I leaned into Stormbringer in PvP and am actually enjoying it. The cooldown Reduction PvP talent has been a really nice add.

I dunno. I’m just kinda chilling by leveling alts or making new ones. Just decided that I don’t like my Nightborne monk who is level 73 so I just made a new monk, lol.

honestly the 3min cd is the least fun I’ve had playing ele since BFA when I started playing ele – but fair thats maybe just me. The rework nerf to defensives CD followed by AG removal also feels like were in the worst place defensively since then.
I honestly don’t know. Affliction aint what it used to be, and ive never connected with Mage. Maybe Shadow?
Probably nothing. I’m out on the 21st don’t see resubscribing for this terrible playstyle.
I wasn’t planning on rerolling.
But if things don’t improve then I’ll probably just take a break this season. I’ve tried almost every other class and they’re all boring.
The sad part is, I would like to give Blizz my money and continue to play a class / spec that is fun they just don’t give a 
about the Ele community. Ignoring the damage, the new PW is just so painful to play with. Its literally the old Ascendance that would cast Lava Burst at every target with FS, but instead it casts a water ballon at them. The new PW is basically the old Ascendance that drank Bud Light.
Which 3 min cooldown? Asc? I play the 2 min version. I haven’t used AG all expansion so I’m not missing it. The defensive cooldown reduction we have now playing Stormbringer is pretty clutch. Pets from 2pc give 5% dmg reduction with talent. I actually feel a little beefier than I used to.
Plus get to use totems a lot more often. It’s still early in the season and I’d much rather have previous version of Pwave but we’ll see how the next few weeks go to see if it’s sustainable or not.
