I removed my post because I don’t care anymore.
I am pretty sure there are the same number of skin colours but the way they redid the darkest one made it way too light.

I am not trying to start anything, it’s just that I am a person of darker color, and like to make my characters the same way too.
So yes while in IRL we have darker skinned humans, humans lived all over the world for many, many, MANY years
In the world of Azeroth, humans did not live in warmer climates for very long times, which would require darker skin tones.
Humans have not been around THAT long, and the ones that have, lived in more average climates.

Climates don’t matter, it’s a fantasy game. Also the original humans were darker skinned not lighter.

Ok… so realisim doesent matter, cause its a fantasy game, so it doesent need darker skin colours.
Also ok… I know that humans were darker skinned not lighter, why the humans on azeroth are lighter, cause they have never really lived in areas that would make them evolve darker skin, or keep their dark skin.
Simple as that, you cant have realism, while also saying “I don’t want realism”
I am just irritated they removed something that was always there. Am i wrong for being irritated about that? Turns out Kul Tiran are the only ones with legitimate darker skin tones now.

The darker skin tone was never changed, it is just as dark now as it was in vanilla. I think you have gotten yourself confused, as these usual “WE NEED DARKER SKIN” is not “we need darker skin back” but “WE NEED PITCH BLACK SKIN!”
You can go to the wowhead and compare the two using the dressing room switching from SD to HD

Nah. The vanilla dark skin was much much darker than the light skinned dark model today.

Look, I have no problem with darker skinned humans in game, I’m a fan of more options, not fewer, and I’d be happy for you to get that. But the way the game is set up right now given the history of humans on Azeroth the current skin colors they have are not odd.
Given how many people like to make their characters look like themselves, this is a reasonable request. Its really awkward and strange for people trying to defend the lack of darker skin tones in the game to be honest.
