So, today, I’m doing all the stuff I didn’t do while in the campaign. I’m hitting the delves, doing the Shipping & Handling stuff, getting used to the car, and fishing for clams.
I absolutely adore the music from the new patch, but I’ve heard a lot of it over the last couple of days. A guildie was on comms with me and hummed “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, so then naturally, I had to listen to that playing, and it has started me on a 1970’s hits playlist, which is strikingly apropos for this zone.
Streaming Decennial Gothica Radio. They spin Gothic, symphonic metal with zero ads. Originated in Pennsylvania, but control was handed over to one of the DJs from Czechia. Is how I found my favorite band, Infected Rain. They played another band (Seas on the Moon) their lead singer (Lena Scissorhands) and their drummer (Eugene Voluta) are involved with. Looked up Seas on YouTube to hear more, got recommended Infected Rain. I’ve since seen them live twice, met Lena and the rest of the band both times. Great people.
I’ve been listening to the in game OST mostly so far for this patch, but did think of a new song for Guuah and him being forced into a situation that is making him downright anxious and, at points, terrified.
Fits the whole Undermine theme and how Guuah feels like a fish well out of water, and hey, I love Caravan Palace.
