Jeeeeeez, this is a sore point. I was keen to main rogue this time, but my husband pointed out:
- The pre-patch is only a fortnight
- Hunter is a very efficient leveler
- I have always deeply, profoundly, and loudly enjoyed hunter
- Hunter is very good at farming whelplings
I mained hunter in vanilla TBC, annnnd looks like Imma do it again. And I will like it…BUT…

I remember someone absolutely crapping on me for choosing the ~wrong~ race / class combo. I also remember people occasionally crapping on my DPS, posting damage meters…without my pet. Upon being forced to add my pet’s damage, GOLLY GEE WHIZ GUESS WHO WAS ALWAYS AT THE TOP. HARRUMPH.
People are wiser now, yes?
