Whatahell does "/10 chars" means?

this happens to time to time while im reading the foruns, there´s a response to a commentary or even the theme of the thread and its just like this:
(blablablablabla
/10 chars )
what even is this?

There is a ten character minimum for responses. The system won’t let you post it otherwise. /10char is added if your comment is less than that to get past the requirement.

Because of the 10 characters limit required for a thread reply. It’s a bit silly.

You can always just put “< hidden >” next to your short word and it will post.

People use it when the response is too short.

Even though they can hide it by doing this < >

While this is true, I find that when posting on a mobile device the added hassle to navigate the crappy keyboard menus to find the < > is too much bother.

Ohh.

Then you just have to say something with more words. Most of us tend to keep writing and can’t shut up. =P

Really? Didn’t know you could posts. Makes the limit pointless don’t you ?

Feeling a little called out right now
