Easier to say where I wont quest.
STV…
Trisfal, Silverpine some then the Barrens. Now in Stonetalum Mountains. I suppose Ashenvale next but I might look for other spots too. I’m lvl 22, tonight I’m hoping to hit 24.
With the exception of horde starting zones, I’ve been in pretty much every zone.
Tristfal glades->Siverpine->Barrens->Stonetalon->Ashenvale->1k needles->aoe->Tanaris.
Basically from then on there’s no single zone-to-zone progressions, there are large gaps in quest levels in every zone … quests were an after-thought in WOW’s original development and it shows … you’ll end up bouncing between every zone in your level range many times as you level up.
This.
After Darkshore, it’s been bouncing from Ashenvale and Stormtalon to Loch Modan and Wetlands chasing quests.
Zones I’ve completed over 90% of quests:
Tirisfal
The Barrens
Hillsbrad Foothills
Ashenvale
Thousand Needles
Stranglethorn Vale
Swamp of Sorrows
Working on:
Badlands
Tanaris
Elwynn
Westfall
Loch Modan
Redridge
Duskwood
Desolace
Arathi
Hillsbrad
Alterac
Swamp of Sorrows
STV (Booty Bay quests after 40)
Badlands
Tanaris
Searing Gorge
Burning Steppes
WPL
Felwood
I think that’s it. I’ve yet to set foot in EPL, Un’goro, Silithus or Winterspring and will get 57 tonight. Definitely going to hit up 3 of the 4… not sure about Silithus. Also haven’t done Blasted Lands.
I’m a mage… it makes traveling from zone to zone for questing a lot easier.
Not sure why people say there aren’t enough quests. I’ve quested the entire way with the exception of a SM grind for a couple levels at 38-39… and have 5 untouched zones at nearly 57.
Ya it feels so weird seeing people that came from post-cata era try to complete out a zone before moving on to the next one. Seems like you would end up missing a lot of the story that way.
Mulgore>Barrens>Ashenvale>Thousand Needles>STV
Planning on Hinterlands/Badlands/Tanaris>Felwood/Searing Gorge>WPL>EPL.
Elwynn
Westfall
Redridge
Duskwood
STV
1K needles
Fearalas
Tanaris
Dun Morogh > Elwynn Forest > Loch Modan > Westfall > Duskwood >
Wetlands > Hillsbrad > Arathi > Desolace > Alterac > Badlands>STV>Tanaris > SOS > Feralas
Quested in all of them had some of EPL, WPL, Winterspring and Burning steppes left for lvl 60 questing for the increased gold reward.
All of these. And the barrens like 4 times over already lol
I find Regular Quests boring.
What I love are Dungeons and its quests behind it…
I am just level 52… taking my time. The only Regular Quest I love is the Big Game Hunter chain quests in STV… killing King Bangalash at level 34 … maybe solo killing Morla’dim by kiting him to death… also soloing the Big giant in South STV by kiting him to Booty Bay Goblins.
Also Summoning the Princess (Myzrael) in Arathi Highlands… kiting her to Refuge Pointe as I feign death and let the lowbies deal with her chaotic elemental summons… I dont want to complete the quest. I just redo it so I could resummon her to Arathi over and over to let lowbies have fun. LOL.
Teldrassil, Elwynn, Westfall, Red Ridge Duskwood, Wetlands, Desolace, Ashenvale, Arathi, Alterac, Hillsbrad, Badlands and parts of STV and Darkshore so far.
Durotar, The Barrens, Stonetalon, Ashenvale and now I’m puttering around in Thousand Needles.
I’m halfway through 59 currently and have made significant gains in every questing zone aside from Alliance-specific zones and non-Orc/Troll starting areas. I’ve been doing a lot of globetrotting.
you will find out that your going to bounce around for zone to zone.you wil ldo 5 quest in one zone to find out ther rest are red to you the you will bounce to another zone and find the same thing.
