What you gonna do with your house?

If housing works the same way it does in other games, I’m gonna be glad they’re warbound.

Oh? Why is that?

I’m personally annoyed by it because my characters have very different vibes so I’m basically just going to have to either have a house of chaos or just design for one character. (or two I guess, counting the Horde house)

The majority of my player housing experience comes from SWTOR. You can buy like… 16 or so houses for your account.

The problem comes in with decorations. If I find a chair, it’s just one chair that can be used in one house unless I buy several copies of said chair. For some decorations that’s not a problem because they might cost a few credits but there’s other decorations that get really expensive and/or they’re hard to get.

I don’t want to buy or farm several copies of the same decoration for God knows how many houses. I would rather have my entire account focus their contributions, like I do in SWTOR.

However, if in WoW you unlock a chair and you can use that chair as many times as you want, then yeah houses not being warbound won’t be a big deal.

Is all good. Gave a few months of fun!

I hope they have the decor to make a witchy sort of house. They likely will have some Hallow’s Eve stuff, but I want it to be a lot.

Im curious how they’ll incentivize us to use it. Intererior designing isn’t really why i play wow. Do I get to plant the head of a boss i beat on the wall? Will a raid boss drop a bed pattern lol. Idk what to expect honestly.

Oh, yeah given how collections work now I was assuming that’s how it would happen.

I would be shocked to find out otherwise honestly.

From what they’ve said, yeah pretty much both of those lol

I’ll check it out but probably won’t use it very much unless they explicitly add some utility feature that makes it useful in some way… I’m not sure what that would be…I don’t see them sticking a bank or AH in there since they still probably want people in major cities…I don’t know, maybe if I can get mage food in there instead of starting every login session with a follower dungeon I might use it for that.

Thats kind of hilarious. They should add stat buffs on it too. Like item luxurious bed of the harmonious, log out in bed and recueve a 3% well rested buff when you log in.

If its fun stuff like that ill like it.

Dunno. I’ll have to figure out what kind of vibe I want and how much time I’m willing to spend on it.

What I am going to do is, design an upside-down home. Everything will be opposite, I want to sit in my easy chair by the fire… on the ceiling, upside-down so everything is all whacky and people may get nauseous after being there awhile. Nothing will be completely nailed down, it’ll all be floating in the air but upside-down, as if it’s all going to topple down on you or you on it, whichever the case may be… that should be creepy enough for a Warlock’s ‘home’.

I want it to be a cabin way out away from people on 1000 acres.
I want it to be cabinnesque
Nothing modern and NO PEOPLE

Sounds like you’ll be making a private neighborhood and living in it alone.

Hopefully the zone for 50 houses is at least 1000 acres.

Most likely nothing it will be hot for a month or 2 then people will be bored with it like garrisons

I’m going to rent it out to Orcs on Section 8 housing. They’ve been dying to be able to get into Elwyn Forest Schools and the rent is guaranteed. It’s great the faction wars are over…

Make it crazy lady cat haven

I’d trade all y’all’s houses to be able to stand upright. No questions asked.

Now that’s courtesy! Not just a place for passersby to poop, but two of them in case couples need to go or a two-headed ogre (which presumably have dual butts) needs to go!

I plan on making my house pet-focused as well. Just pets all over the darn place. Oh, and unique rooms for my alts that reflect their personalities.
