What you gonna do with your house?

I sometimes use a screwdriver as a hammer but sure! Sounds fun

Only one of the duo ever is a handyman.

The other is a real estate agent or designer.

I was watching a UK Pottery show last night and I learned about ā€œHell mouth fireplacesā€ and now I want one, in game for my house and IRL

Do you get 1 house per character or is it warbound?

It’ll be our house, in the middle of the street.

If I can’t have a dusty old barrow den for my nelf druid, I don’t want it.

Cottagecore. Minimalist with a lot of cooking type of stuff. Little table for tea.

A torture chamber for my enemies in the basement

I was never trained to be a good dragon. :frowning:

I want to build a library or a sort of library/museum hybrid. Something like the Hall of Explorers in Ironforge.

I’m really hoping I can place all the lore books and letters I have collected around the house and invite others to read them. I’d like to make spaces dedicated to zones, dungeons, etc. and show off notable pieces of game history.

I myself will probably mess with it very little. Housing was never a big thing for me. Even back in the SWG days my house was purely a storage area, never decorated. Just backpacks on the walls with stuff in them. I was always in a city somewhere chatting or out adventuring. My wife on the other hand has a huge creative flair. I’m sure she’ll make hers look straight banger.

I want to make a hunter’s lodge or longhouse.

Housing is likely going to be a big endgame pillar for me, assuming there are fun ways to earn new cosmetics for the house. I’m hoping to be able to rotate through changing things up for the various seasons/holidays. I want to spend my fall/winter going through the halloween/christmas vibes for sure.

I mean, I’m playing an undead character. Why do I need a house? I don’t need to sleep or eat. I don’t sweat and can’t get rid of the grave-smell anyway so bathing’s not an issue. I suppose I could turn it into a safe house for wayward Forsaken or something.

shrug

As far as my other characters are concerned… my night elf demon hunter was planning on retiring in Shal’Aran with the nightfallen until they joined the Horde. I could see him settling down in a house, but it would be pretty bare-bones. At least he’d have a place to hang the now spent and powerless Twinblades of the Deceiver.

My worgen warlock will hold out until there are neighborhoods in Gilneas. I won’t even do the breadcrumb quests on him. Until then, he’ll keep crashing at one of the Gilnean inns that have reopened.

I’ve got a few other alts, but I dunno… I’m sure I’ll get houses on all of them eventually, I just don’t know how important they’ll be to me.

At the moment it’s warbound. I hope they change that before release, because that was very disappointing news.
