(This question is more aimed from a PvP perspective, since literally any WW player who only does PvE has already swapped to DH by now)
Personally i’ve never played WW before 8.1.5, changed to it after I realized surv was no longer fun and WW rotation was pretty fun and refreshing.
I enjoyed WW for a while before I did some research on MoP/WoD and realized it’s almost a completely different class from how it used to play, and its’ really just weird. It feels like WW just plays like a -slightly- less tanky warrior- and it’s pretty unsatisfying.
I like the idea of a hit-and-run sub-class which does a lot of cool stuff but has a high skill-cap and way less survivability, not quite what it is now.
My main complaint I feel is how FoF works, it’s used as mongo damage and the only time you have to realistically think about using it is against every specific class abilities, i.e feleruption/bolt/db/coil/blink etc.
From what i’ve seen in MoP/WoD vods was that FoF seemed like a setup ability for the rest of your damage, instead of just channeled damage.
Regardless of what I think -due to my lack of experience with other iterations- what iteration of WW do you guys want to see in Shadowlands when they begin working on it?
