Anything in lore, you say?
I would play as a dreadlord just to get a taste of cruel chaose. I would play as a vrykul to fulfil my love for their cultural inspirations. But if I had to choose just one? Gnoll. Specifically a shaman. Sure, gnolls might eat bones and use human flesh as the canvas of their tents, but they’re just little soft cuties that don’t know any better. I’ll serve my king Hogger any day.
Probably either a Vrykul or Worgen Shaman.
Or a Vrykul Druid.
Oh that’s easy Valajar female warrior with spear shield combo
An Orc hunter with tigers .
A Goblin that likes to blow up stuff and set things on fire .
Kyrian ascended Paladin with those big, sexy wings

Vrykul Warrior or Shaman. Just let me be a Thor analogue already
Ankoan Shaman.
Customization options like bioluminescence.
Racials include swim speed and water breathing.
Goblin Tinker!
It’d be a dream come true to have my childhood favorite WC3 hero be a playable class.
Shooting off cluster rockets, building devices, going full mech form… good times, just feels so weird that it’s NOT in WoW as of yet.
Night elf Paladin.
Legion was such a tease with this, I was sure it’d be in Shadowlands or Dragonflight.
Highmountain Demon Hunter. I could be my favourite race, and the class that requires no brain function to play. Perfection. There’s a reason only elves can be them

I would multi-class a warrior/bard for a Dwarf skald.
Dark Iron with Fire Forms, like a fire goat travel form.
