What things would you like to see added to Wow that the game doesn’t have now?
I keep saying it.
A fully fleshed out Companion system, ala SWTOR.
I keep wanting to go back to SWTOR to romance Jaesa. Lemme romance Rexxar!
The same idea as above with another goal: npc teammates for M+, ideally fully programmable (able to choose pulls, lust locations, cooldown usages, cc assignments, etc)
It’s a really basic thing, and can easily be done with macros if someone really wanted too.
But a emote tab or page, somewhere whether it be on the microbar or in the spellbook or even under the collections next to the toy tab. Just a simple place with buttons for all the emotes in the game.
Something that is super small gameplay wise, but having been playing FFXIV a lot. It’s something I absolutely adore compared to having to type them all out.
Player housing.
Playable High Elves.
More/better customization for Mechagnomes. Still not sure why we couldn’t have had the ability to select 1 arm and/or 1 leg that was flesh or really any combination of arms and legs. Also more facial customizations and haircuts along with a silver and rusted tint for the heritage armor.
Better world quest content (such as Dreamsurge Rewards) so I am not always waiting 30min to form a group
More/better interactivity with the world and objects in the world.
Dragonflight is amazing in my opinion, and then you go and do vehicular combat and it’s so slow and clunky, or you do a rock climbing world quest and your character is stiff, in one position, the camera angle is horrible, etc.
I like looting chests and bags scattered around the open world, and those achievements where you go to the high points on the map, or release the kites. But there’s not much to them.
Been playing single player games with smoother/better animations and all around more interactivity. I don’t know how WoW could implement something like that.
All new models, with hair and clothes that move, (Like V Rising and Elden Ring) character skeletons that allow for different styles of clothing; skirts, dynamic cloaks, hair that shows when helmets are worn.
Hundreds of hairstyles for all, highly customisable Character Creation.
More pink clothes; not just garish Love is in the Air pink, but lots of pinks!
Beautifully designed and textured armour and robes.
My top 3 wishes for WoW:
A healer class that isn’t focused around nature or the Light (would settle for mages and/or dk’s getting a healing spec).
Actual player housing as an evergreen feature and not just the sad excuse that was garrisons.
More detailed character models and better customization for blood/void elves.
I have a whole list but the top 3 would be:
1). Old World Azeroth (original vanilla world) accessible as:
a) an optional starting zone for any of the original races
b) thru a portal in the wizard’s tower
Would also be an option in Chromie Time
2). Player Housing as an evergreen feature; all I ask is a small instanced room that each of my characters can decorate in a simple fashion to their personal taste to start, anything more can be developed as the system goes along
3). High Elves for the Alliance (Hill die!) and Saberon (using the worgen skeleton for mog) for the Horde
Old World Azeroth would include:
a) all original quests (ie class quests, class mount quests, legendary questlines like Atiesh, ect)
b) the complete attunement quests as optional endgame content
c) all original dungeons in their original, less ‘streamlined’ version
d) all original raids in their original, less ‘streamlined’ version
d) all original rewards including titles, tabards (ie Argent Dawn) and mounts (ie black ram)
e) all original gear (ie Brawler’s Harness) wt original designs (ie Mordant’s Travel Tunic)
f) all orignal NPC vendors with their original wares, especially those who sold recipes/patterns/item that are presently unavailable to both or one of the faction (ie Shadow Protection Potion recipe)
Below are the list of things, I want in the game.
- More bikini sets for gals and berserk sets for guys. ( Berserk anime )
- Better idle, walking and running animations option for all races,
- More hairstyles,
- Better character customisation from healthy to slim,
- Allow all classes to transmog cloth, mail, leather and plate armor.
- Adding Half-orc race that looks like the gith in Baldur’s gate 3
Now that is an interesting idea.
My draenei paladin would certainly enjoy having the opportunity to ‘adventure’ with Lantresor of the Blade .
Maybe Skyrim style mysterious hidden vaults with secret puzzles in them and entering requires you to solve a visual puzzle. Explore them, fight enemies, and get valuable loot from solving its many puzzles including jumping puzzles. Some might even have a bit of hidden lore in them.
They could be placed sporadically around the depths of the world in TWW up high, in off the beaten path locations, or deep below underwater.
- Player housing
- The return of the “unstuck” ability (why was this removed?)
- PvE horde mode
- Better ingame tracking of world events
- Troll shoes
- A duck mount
- Cosmetic class “skins”. I’d find tauren paladins far more palatable if their spells were more nature/sun based in appearance, even if they’re still direct analogues to paladin abilities. Hero specs could have been this
- Normal and leveling dungeons to at least have some modicum of danger to them
- Hats not deleting our hair
- Transmog based on slot, not item
- Cosmetic face slot added so we can wear glasses with hats/scarves
- Hide Pants
- Retroactive quest credit. As in, if I accidently do Seige of Dragonbane Keep and then pick up Last Hurrah, it still counts for Last Hurrah
Just a few off the top of my head.
Playable Saberon!
Trench coats…we are SO close with the KT heritage and the new Plunderstorm mog, let’s goo!! Brown, dark brown, black, gray etc etc
More tattoos, warpaint and scars for all, class and race themed too.
More beards for all, longer, scraggly, goofy whatever.
A lot more unique hunter pets, especially “rare” ones you have to hunt. Mech, fel, fire, shadow, glow, spirit, weird, unique etc.
Straight backs for all.
More cool looking mounts that aren’t just color variations in gray, brown, black or white, and not ones you have to do high level stuff to get it.
…. I’m seeing plenty of requests for player housing.
hee hee. ahahahahahahahaha.
The gritty 80’s/90’s Aesthetic developers like Blizzard and Interplay were known for I think would be a good addition to WoW.
A damage check world quest where you just smash a dummy and once you do a certain threshold of damage the quest completes. Maybe have a heal and tank variation as well.
That’s a good question.
I think the Forsaken need a visual overhaul. I want better posture, or better yet, Nathanos/Calia human-undead options. The current model is interesting and thematic but visually it doesn’t work and needs to be fixed. Our posture ruins every transmog and just makes us look like a bad joke at this point.
That being said, I think the devs have been killing it with their additions, and a lot of my requests (community requests, really) end up in the game in some way, shape or form. So, I think I’m pretty happy, but there’s always room for improvement
Imagine the WoD companion system, where you can level up your companion, take them along with you and eventually take them into dungeons or delves. That would be really interesting, I think.
Something like the Golden Saucer in ff14. I only played ff14 for a short time, but I really enjoyed the Golden Saucer.
Also I’d like if they would just make old raids soloable as soon as a new expansion comes out. I don’t think there’s a large group of people trying to go back and do old raids for anything. We just want transmog. Just let us solo them as soon as a new expansion comes out and we hit max level.
