What Would Restart A War Between The Horde And Alliance?

i like us being friends. 90% of ppl in my keys are hordies somehow lol

Horde burns the next elf tree, but I prefer to burn Stormwind and turning draenei into roads.

they used to literally kill each other, good ol’ days

I dunno, maybe burning down another World Tree.

Faction-baiting fuels in-game racism and tribalism. It serves no purpose other than violence and cyber bullying.

Panera’s Cinnamon Crunch Bagels or we riot!

I don’t think I can agree with that; while a global disagreement doesn’t have to necessarily result in battlegrounds between them and world pvp at all times, the backdrop of conflict is important. Could you have the stories about Eitrigg and Tirion Fordring if they were not at war?

True, if we are all partying up in guilds, it doesn’t have to be outright war, but I would put forward that Warcraft isn’t Warcraft without at least fraught tension.

Villian bat = giving Horde fanboys the faction war they want?

If Horde leaders are not villains, they are hated like Baine or ignored like Layla.

If they go crazy and attack Alliance,Horde players love them. They just get upset when they have to die to keep the game functioning.

The Night Elves and Worgens fire bombing the upcoming Horde wedding?

I could see us going to war over a rare resource of great magical potential.

Races don’t exist in WoW. You are either Human&Friends or Orc&Friends. Worst misconception I see pop up again and again is the idea of race as if it has a place beyond RP fluff.

If I came in and punted every Gnome and Dwarf in IF. I’ll do it.

With the current situation, nothing really.

Currently the target consumer is thought of as Non-conflict / hand holding & everyone get along- types, if you will. (Just look at some of the posts in this thread… they don’t want it.) I don’t work there, but I’m betting that the average new dev @ blizz is a fellow target consumer age group. It’s just how things are now.

If you long for old wow, you gotta move on and get over it. Sadly, times have changed, in my opinion anyway.

Same thing that starts virtually all wars.

Competition for resources.

Oh no thats a good reason for faction to come together roast Baine anyone :dracthyr_tea:

That’s true, we can all join hands after rounding up all those cattle for a nice feast.

Lack of developer imagination and creativity. Faction war is lazy game design.
