no dps queueing as tanks / no dps queueing as heals: play your role
Shorter Dungeons
fewer bosses, less trash, faster runs
no skips / full clear required
Rewards and Punishments
tiered timers: completed, completed fast, completed VERY fast, with tiered rewards
no key depletion
None of this will likely happen, and yes, I’m a filthy casual. But if you wanted me to touch M+, that’s what it would take. In the meantime, I’m strictly Heroic / Open World content, and I’m good with that.
Currently, I don’t see full clears in regulars, much less heroics or mythics.
I am not saying that current content is being cleared.
I am saying that all dungeons, including M+, should be redesigned to be faster, cleaner, and require full clears, because FOR ME, the trash-skipping game play style just isn’t it.
As far as kicking PUG members at the end of a run so that you can bring in someone new. How many people do you think do this? How many slots on your ignore list would you have to use in order for those people to be effectively blacklisted.
Again, your contempt is noted, but I wrote what I wrote, even if you chose not to read it.
Just in case you didn’t know, almost all of what you’re looking for is available in heroics and M+0.
I hope that helps ! Beyond that, better gear requires more difficult content and investment.
Also:
I’d be fine with one Mulligan a week or something for keys, but they need to deplete or there’s no stakes
Tiered rewards could be cool, like MoP CMs
I think scenarios in tandem with dungeons could be cool for shorter romps, but please don’t make dungeon content shorter. Wow MoP had a lot going for it eh?
Without a serious reduction in difficulty LFG M+would eat people alive, even at lower key tiers. I’d never touch it
This is solved in pvp where people cannot change to a non-healer spec if they signed up as a healer. I don’t know why this is right in only pvp. This should also be the case in LFR and normal/heroic dungeons.
We had smaller dungeons. Players complained that the small design was lazy. Trash skipping promotes strategy. Some packs are dangerous one week, but not the next. The current count gives options.
Enough would that it would become a problem. You would see posts about it on these forums. I have watched people do it in other games.
I do think Mythic 0 at least could be added to group finder… at this point, with so many tiers of content though I wonder what the point of normal dungeons even is.
This would have the opposite effect than what people would expect.
This is basically how Challenge Modes used to work in MoP/WoD, and since there was no punishment for non-completion, as well as tiered rewards, the meta was to reset as soon as a run wasn’t going literally perfectly because the only thing people cared about was hitting the gold timers.
Shorter runs, but no skips?
Why? What’s even the point.
lol no
11s would eat LFG pugs alive. Blizzard learned their lesson from cataclysm dungeons and the various brick-wall bosses that have popped up in LFR over the years.
“Hard” content will never be queuable.
What happens when a key gets stalled because people don’t want to join a key in progress? Because you know, tiered rewards and whatnot.
Imagine having to 100% something like Brackenhide lmao.
Because the entire point of suggestions was to make it to where you can replace people. If the replacements coming in dont get loot, its a dead system.
Imo, remove all queued content – which is dungeon finder(df) not LFG.
Requiring people to switch from queued content to forming their own groups at the m+ level scares people off from it. If you had to form groups from the start that wouldn’t happen. Throw in a tutorial or quest to teach new players how to use LFG to form their own groups. It would help a lot.
