What would be the caster with the most short cast and instant cast, discarding BM and Fire mage?

I mean, pretty sure the answer is fire mage.

But. There is an elemental shaman build that is basically nothing but lavaburst spam. It might be the most fun I’ve ever had with an elemental shaman.

Arcane kinda fits your description. Arcane Blast is the only real hard cast you have, and all your other abilities are either channels or instants

Restoration Druid has a lot of instant cast spells and can build for catweaving.

Frost Mage with high haste.

Affliction Warlock.

Mostly instant cast dots. A couple short cast dots. A couple channeled spells.

In no particular order.

Ele Shaman, Fire Build, With Surge of Power, and Windspeaker’s Lava Resurgence. Without Ele blast, you are instant Prim wave, for instant lava burst, for instant earth shock, for instant lava burst, with instant totem for instant flame shock spread.

Pretty much 85-90% everything is instant. Or short Cast. The only issue is that… well the AoE is target capped and not strong. And in general for all the spam casting, and lava bursts flying everywhere… you arent doing a ton of DPS for what you are putting into it.

Frost mage felt very very spammy the last time I played it.

Frost Mage from my experience. Depending on how ya build the Talent Tree I suppose.
