The best faction is Horde.

What one you do 1st I don’t think matters.

If you don’t have any particular attachment to the overall themes of either faction, then just pick the most appealing race and let the faction issue sort it out for you.

If it’s based on professions can just look at the info on each race to see which benefits them. I think HMT have mining racial?
