What would be a more fun pve solo class? Mage, Rogue, or Shaman?

Kinda want a new alt. I’ve got all the more solo friendly classes like lock, paladin, warrior, druid but I’m wanting something new.

Out of these what would be good for the more solo player?

I’m biased, but I think Shaman are super fun, even when they are terrible. Great burst damage, pocket tank, good defensives and self heals.

Seems to be a zillion of them lately though which should tell you something.

Just reposting from a thread yesterday.

I’m a solo player who does TW dungeons/Delves and I’ll group up for a world boss if needed. I used to do LFR but not this expac.

Shaman has the advantage of a earth ele pet for when things get intense. Which can help in solo content.

How are mages in delves?

Thats one of the only things that worries me about both the mage and rogue. I know it’s “doable” but worried about it being a slog or struggle.

Shaman also has Ghost Wolf, it’s a great QoL ability.

And Chain Lightning is probably my favorite AoE in the game. Always there, always ready, glorious sparkly destruction.

Good, for me. I do tier 8’s, did 2 yesterday on it, no issues. Good mobility, defensives, a heal, invisi when needed plus they are NE so I have an extra “oops, hide” button. 618 ilvl.

People claim Rogues are hard in delves, but youve got 100 tools at your disposal. Use them properly and its ezpz

Plus stealth while leveling is underrated

I like hunters and warlocks. They are easy to play since you don’t have to maneuver to fight, you just blast away from where you are while your pet/demon does the tanking for you.

Stealth is amazing. I’ve played feral a bit in the past and I adore stealth.

Of those 3, I enjoy mage the most, but any class or spec is going to be able to do a tier 8.

I would say shaman probably have it easier over mages because of wolf form and heals. Mage, especially frost, has the better CC.

Personal preference: Rogue or frost mage.

Rogue can pick their fights and avoid trash.

Frost mage has a lot of CC and is decently survivable.
