What will your House look like in Midnight?

I see plenty of negativity around this new expansion. While I wont deny there aren’t things to criticize, I think we all can agree that Housing might just be the Highlight of the expansion. What will your house look like once the expansion launches?

I can already imagine making my own Goblin Pleasure Palace. A three to four floor suite with a lobby, maintenance room in the basement, piles of gold and slot machines embedded into the walls.

My house will look like a bunch of cluttered blizzard assets when I’d prefer it looks like a home.

probably leave it as whatever it defaults as

Like a traditional robot apartment. :robot::rightwards_hand:

Maybe add some flowers.

A chair

Made of smaller chairs

I am hoping there will be trees that I could set up along the walls to make it look like the woods… then just a campfire and bedroll in the center of the room. What else would I need?

I’m not holding my breath, though

I think your Goblin would certainly be considering a casino room of some sort, given the nature of Goblins. :sunglasses:

My Alliance home will have a number of features I love. It will have a library with tall shelves filled with books, neat items I collect, etc. It will have a Gnome-themed room with workbenches, tinkering collections, as many machine-type items as they want to put in the game, etc. I want to see how much of an indoor garden I can make because I love houseplants.

And cats, there has to be cats. Cats of every type, shape, colour, size, etc. Just give me cats, Blizz. :smiley_cat: :cat2:

Depends on what is necessary to set it up. If it’s really grindy unlocking stuff, and I’d have to do a lot of content I wouldn’t want to do, and it looks like a garrison town hall, and it’s restricted to max level players in a max level zone, I’m not even going to bother with it.

Probably specific rooms with an overarching theme. Preferable theme would be Dalaran.

With an evoker main I was thinking it would be funny to have a house based around the theme of slaying dragons or other scaled creatures. The problem is outside of some dragon heads, I don’t know how much you’d be able to decorate your house with dragon kills or wyrm kills.

Probably be really hard pressed to even find serpent dragon trophies.

So far the criticism seems based on what people are guessing the game will look like. To me it looks like a lot of fun. I can’t wait for Midnight.

I just hope the blackrock clan doesnt swoop in, buy up all the good real estate, and drive prices sky high.

I’m gonna pick one of my neighbors and make my house look exactly like theirs, and whenever they change it, I’ll make the same change

I may swap to an Orc finally after years of playing a Tauren and go back to my roots.

I was always an orc swapped to tauren.

if i need to establish my identy in wow, i will have a house that resembles the orcs of Frostwolf.

From my memory of Ion’s talks during Gamescon, he did say that they weren’t looking to put items behind a lot of grind. There may be things like rewards for achievements but they seemed to be more for retroactive ones (so stuff we did in the past). I guess it depends on whether those are a thing for you.

Since that’s subjective, of course, I cant say what you might not want to do.

It won’t.

The Alliance one is outside Stormwind in Elwynn and the Horde one is outside Orgrimmar in Durotar, so no, not max level zone.
