DPS, healer, and tank are not classes. You should have put that into a separate question.

And if you want to know what classes people will play that data is already available in large sample sizes. It’s pretty much what you’d expect except warrior is not the most common class at 60, despite what a lot of people think.

A lot of people say they’re going to level a warrior but burn out. That probably happens more often with warriors than any other class and because of that mages are the most common at 60 at around 20% of the total population. Warriors and rogues will be around ~15%.

Of level 60s expect
1 in 5 players to be a mage
1 in 7 to be a warrior
1 in 7 to be a rogue
1 in 8 to be a hunter
1 in 8 to be a paladin (Alliance only obviously)
1 in 10 to be a priest
1 in 11 to be a warlock (1 in 10 on Horde)
1 in 11 to be a shaman (Horde only obviously)
1 in 20 to be a druid (1 in 14 on Alliance)

According to this poll, apparently, you cannot play one paladin; you must have two or more if you have any.

Hope more people who plan to play to 60 reply honestly to this. It looks like a fair spread. Surprising to me.
