You make too many assumptions.
It will probably take me more than 2 years to finish all the raids and collect all the gear.
I intend to take my time and enjoy leveling, and PvP a lot with friends. I’ll get into raiding around Phase 2 probably, and start doing Ony and MC. In 2 years from now, I don’t expect I’ll be ready to step into Naxx.

Do it all over again till I have every single class level 60 with full bis.
Collect all the legendaries (that alone will take many, many years)
Why do people think killing final boss = quit time?
I’m just getting started, I still want to heal and tank naxx and try it on all different classes.
When my characters are full bis ill be in bgs/world pvping all day long and helping out any new players, doing dungeon boosts, helping with world quest, giving out bags, protecting Redridge from horde etc
I don’t plan on ever quitting, ill be subbed to classic till I die.

i will create a rogue ONLY to gank people,. thats it.
Ill be playing the game without worrying about grinding AP, daily quests, warfronts, world quests, and all the other things i don’t enjoy doing.
I don’t know. I’ve played enough “similar” games to Classic that I’ll probably still be playing. I’m not a raider and for me it’s not about clearing stuff. I just log in and socialize, level, and play on the AH.
If I moved on just because I had done everything (everything that I do that is), then I wouldn’t be coming back 
- Maintain my Classic characters on the highest pop realm.
- I will be playing on TBC or WotLK if they decide to do this beyond Classic.
- Play current WoW 2.0 the way lore and story is going.
- Playing other MMOs maybe. i.e: SWTOR, ESO, FF, GW2,3,4,5. LuL

I think creating new content for Classic is an idea whose time has come. There is no reason not to, if it is done under the same conditions as real Classic. Certainly would be challenging for them to do it but they have some clever people working there, so why not?
Why not some extra dungeons? What not an extra raid or two? Why not some hidden areas of the map, some extra battlegrounds…whatever works within the rules of the game as it was. What Classic players want is the gaming experience of Classic, and that would be the yardstick.
I’ll be interested to see what they do going forward.

Hiding in your closet with a mouth full of ping pong balls. Showing up at your place of employment wearing a clown suit. Hacking into your phone to change your background to a crudely photo-shopped picture of us romantically gazing at the stars together in the back of uncle Bob’s pickup truck. Painstakingly inserting glitter into your toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, and deodorant. Basically enjoying my life as I try to do every single day.

I played vanilla for almost two years, whatever its lifespan was, and didn’t clear any raid. Maybe I will this time around, a lot of people will not have.
Many people rolled lots of alts. The game is infinitely replayable. If you get tired of it, get burnt out, etc., take a break. The game is still there and will be a blast when you start it back up.
That’s what’s awesome about vanilla.

2 years dude it will be like 1 month after its released if not faster
They are releasing Classic in phases. One month in will have Onyxia and Molten Core…
1 month after naxx is released is what i mean, it will be cleared. Thats all it took in vanilla, now you have a thousand turbo nerds who know the content already
