Not sure. It’s between my evoker and enh shaman. I certainly won’t be leveling both right away.

My heart says Monk. I love the Monk fantasy in every game. FF3? You know Luneth was a Black Belt. FFXIV? Monk, baybeeee. Hell, even in Destiny 2 I’d play an Arcstrider cause mobility? punching? zappy staff? Hell yeah, my guy. I even played an Enhancement Shaman from BC because it was the closest thematically, I could get to a Monk before MoP.
But Blizzard is doing everything in their power to make Monk feel bad and perform poorly in PvP and I’m as close to maining one of my alts as I’ve ever been. Tentatively still rolling Monk, but spriest is extremely close to taking that spot. Despite how much casting you have to do as spriest, the constant micro CC feels extremely powerful, even when damage is undertuned, and you can do psychic link shenanigans in wpvp. Not to mention some uniquely fun spells like mind games, thoughsteal, and classic mind control.

Whatever is the best healer and best dps based on arenamate representation and I will probably level 5 or 6 characters with the new Warbands ™️ feature of the top performing specs so after the first 2 weeks I will be able to main whatever the strongest spec available is
Lol are you me? No joke this is literally the exact mentality I’ve had. Play monk in everything that has one. Spriest is literally the backup I have for the exact same reasons.
Kinda freaking me out lol.

I’m always disappointed when I play a fantasy game and they don’t have a Monk option. I’m never shocked necessarily, but always a little bummed. I def feel like this may be the expansion where I take a break from Monk though. Losing Serenity sucks, and while Conduit is decent, Shado Pan is a dead hero talent tree and overall it’s just not feeling fun atm. 
Hoping you and I both will avoid the temptation of spriest and be rolling Monk in a few weeks!

Depends, if Hunter Survivability is still trash (it might be better with the change up to the self healing) I will probably be maining Ele or DH.
I think I’ll still go monk through the ups and downs. I enjoy conduit enough, even though I was hoping shado-pan to be the go to.
I feel like I’ll at least be able to enjoy it long enough for some hopeful balance passes to come through.
But a priest feels like a wheelchair comparably, so that’s a hard move xD
I’m embracing the zug zug and going warrior. Haven’t played warrior since MoP
Warrior because I’m dumb and angrily hitting things with a big stick is my solution to problems.
