Depends on the kind of nerf and depends for what content .
I went sub end of bfa when everyone and their mother went Sin with gushing wounds 
Prepatch and SL beta solidified my choice due to the shadow rogue “theme” for subtlety feeling complete with black powder !
So while i expect a nerf , it will be live-able for pve and if its that nerfed for pvp , always 2 other specs
Think about last time blizzard nerfed Sub rogue , it was because of Zul , completely destroyed the spec and took over 2 years to resurface >.<
