What will you all do

What will you all do when sub gets slapped with another nerf

Outlaw looks fun 5)

you mean killing people within a cheapshot deserves a nerf?

Depends on the kind of nerf and depends for what content .

I went sub end of bfa when everyone and their mother went Sin with gushing wounds  Prepatch and SL beta solidified my choice due to the shadow rogue “theme” for subtlety feeling complete with black powder !

So while i expect a nerf , it will be live-able for pve and if its that nerfed for pvp , always 2 other specs

Think about last time blizzard nerfed Sub rogue , it was because of Zul , completely destroyed the spec and took over 2 years to resurface >.<

What will you do when it doesn’t get nerfed?

What will you do when your name gets reported? Keep on keeping on? Cool, that’s what we’re doing.

Nice mog :+1:

Although my daggers are better looking, you’re still sexy.

Go Assassination. Hopefully the Subt nerfs are PvP specific, but if they are not, hopefully the PvE nerfs coincide with massive Assassination buffs. I’m honestly not remotely worried about rogue viability. Outlaw is a monster in M+ and Torghast and seems to be performing extremely well in Nathria (the logs I’ve been perusing have Outlaw out-performing Subt overall, actually). For PvP, I find Sin to be a much better arena spec overall than Subt anyway.

So… I think we’ll be fine with Subt dead. We were fine for BFA.

That’s because a lot of the fights are cleave or add heavy.

People are padding meters on blood council even though the splash doesn’t matter

Sun King Salvation is the only one I can think of. Arguably Huntsman Altimore / Stone Legion Generals

Shriekwing is purely ST, so is Hungering Devourer, Artificer, Sludgefist and Lady Inerva might as well be. Denathrius is mostly ST. Council shouldn’t have too much genuine “padding” because most specs gain priority damage by hitting the other two bosses; Affliction gains shards by putting Agony on all three… Balance druid generates more Astral Power by dotting all three, same with Spriest and Void energy. Elemental gains more lava surge procs by Flame Shocking all three, Subtlety gets better combo point generation by Shuriken Storming outside of dance (I switched Backstab’s icon to Hemorrhage, that’s how bad it is >.<). There might be examples of genuinely padding like Sweeping Strikes or Blade Flurry but those specs are the exception not the rule. Most specs will absolutely be damaging the non-priority targets to increase their priority damage.

Anyway, Huntsman and Sun King are the two cleave / add-heavy fights in Nathria. I don’t know if those are enough to really swing the entire balance in favor of Outlaw or Subt, especially because Subt can really shine on the Shade damage portion of Huntsman and let’s not pretend like 6pt Shuriken Storms into Secret Technique or Black Powder is completely garbage on Sun King… it’s just not Blade Flurry good.

TL:DR Outlaw seems to be the better all-around Nathria spec and “cleave or add-heavy” fights don’t seem to account for all of the superiority.

Nothing tbh, I used to main sub for 3 expansions, so I’m leveling it again.

We aren’t talking other specs. Outlaw padding on council does nothing.

Lady has addcleave if stacked.

Tbh if they nerfed ER interaction with symbols I think sub would be in a good spot.

I’ll change it if blizzard wants me to

Are you familiar with how Blizz operates?

Yes? The point of this question is?

Sub has a history of being nerfed pretty heavily at the start of every xpac.

Once equals a history? :man_facepalming:t3:

I know it’s scary to think you won’t be able to close your eyes and PvP anymore.

Uhhh it has definitely not been once.

Not really. I’m not even Kyrian so try again.

Then feel free to name the expansions it got nerfed heavily at the start for.
