What wil happen now to the line of wrynn?

well, to begin with, anduin should have been a paladin! why DID the creators choose to make anduin a priest? Much like in real life, the child will want to grow up and become the one thing that the parents never predicted. i mean what was the one thing anduin could become that no one would ever see coming- a priest! that being the case, also no love interest, sylvanas, not suitable in my opinion, she is much older, complicated by the fact that, her and varian partied together (lol) in the old days. did varian have any illegitimate sons like on game of thrones?

so what happens now to the lineage of the wrynns? Is this the end of the wrynn line??? then who will be king of stormwind then? a new line then?

i dont know, but also bring ol’ andy (prince anduin, oh srry, i mean, king anduin) back to the light!

jmo, i have questions!

Anduin is not a paladin nor a priest primarily. He is a “hero” class. That means he mixes both and uses whatever of either side depending on what plot demands. He can also dual wield Shalamayne which paladins cannot. Same way Jaina can use frost+arcane spec, and Arthas could use frost+unholy.

oh that’s very insightful! tyvm!

Anduin is a dual class. Priestadin.

There’s nothing in the lore that states priests cannot marry. That is a catholic thing.

Why not?

Cata and Mists set it up.

Where have you been? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

We’re not talking gameplay here. In lore, Anduin has followed the path of a Priest.

Anduin wears plate armor and wields a sword that his Warrior father used, which would be useless for a Priest ( strength, no intelligence), but suitable for a Paladin. He’s a Paladin.

I just call him daddy like I did his daddy.

Lorewise he is a priest. This isn’t about gameplay mechanics.

I have been telling my guild here and there for almost a year now that he needs to start hooking up with all the princesses. We have all these young women and almost no young men. He needs to continue the line.

Uh, Faerin Lothar for the win, anyone? hello?

No.

Absolutely not.

Don’t worry, we have a substitute Wrynn that’s superior in every way, and I can assure you that there will be no shortage lack of heirs.

We’ll become an anarchosyndicalist commune. We’ll take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week. But all the decisions by that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting. By a simple majority in a case of purely internal affairs, but a two thirds majority in the case of a more major decisions.

lets not forget the “my fee fees powers” too

Actually he was crown prince and when his father died he became King. Paladins are just knights.

What does his hypothetical class have to do with potentially having a child some day? How do you know he has no love interest? Maybe he has 20 kids running around already, who knows. The game doesn’t follow every minute of his life.

And specifically catholic, in most other sects of Christianity, it’s actually encouraged for a Priest or other religious authority to either be single or married, for obvious reasons.

Anduin is still pretty young, he’s in his 20’s, he’s just now by modern standards ready to start dating, though given this is an oddly pre-industrial revolution setting, I’d assume they marry em young like Medieval Europe did.

He will marry Yrel and have pink skinned hooved babies!
