What were the other prepatch events like?

I started playing during Legion so I only got to experience BFA’s. Going kamikaze on the barrier Malfurion made was funny. I chose not to save anyone on my alliance alt :fire: At least there was plenty of lore. Had a mount too.

Legion prepatch was super fun. Running around azeroth and stopping invasions was cool.

the other ones were fun and rares didn’t take #$)#@$#@$ long to spawn

Much like the expansion itself, the Cataclysm prepatch was the stinkiest turdiest prepatch of all. :relieved:

Legion’s Prepatch was a fun one. You get to go to iconic areas to fend off demon invasions. It was a good way to lvl alts too.

WoD was a bore; just kill things mindlessly in Blasted Lands I think? Plus part of an updated version of Upper Blackrock Spire, which completely makes the original unavailable.

MoP was a scenario involving Theramore.

I wasn’t around for the Cata prepatch because I started after Cata launched.

The Legion prepatch is the only one worth praising. (imo)

You had like 4 or 5 world bosses scattered around Azeroth and it was their first attempt at world scaling. So you’d have like level 10s getting summoned out to Tanaris to kill the bosses. The demons around the area gave phat experience so you could level your alts very quickly.

Also the Plate recolor of the WoD craftable set is probably one of my favorite plate sets in the game. So there’s that.

Did you not play Cataclysm or something?

Cuz the prepatch was great considering it had 2 different events
