apparently, there are 2 low-level alts and a priest that like ROP. Good for them.

The mage consensus on hating this spell for 10 years is pretty clear.

Maybe in 4 expansions when Mages get the much needed re-design we’ve been asking for, for the past 4 expansions they might look at getting rid of RoP. In the meantime, just stop playing a Mage. Between RoP and the awful gameplay of Frost you would need to pay me a lot of $$ to play a Mage right now.

I agree. Rune of Power is horrible and should be deleted from the game.

Fix it by deleting it.

RoP is unhealthy for the class as it forces damage outside of Rune of Power window to be mediocre at best. If the flow of the fight doesn’t match RoP CD, it just feels bad as a whole.

Yes, remove rune of power, it’s terrible.

Or fix it by making it 40 yards in diameter and lasting 1 minute kek

it’s easy to dismiss other people’s opinion by saying they are unskilled, but the reality is that mages at all skill levels hate that spell. Casuals, gladiators, and mythic raiders alike, all hate what RoP has done to mage.

Regardless, why does skill even matter in a conversation about comfort? It is not a comfortable skill to play around, and no other class has to deal with that shenanigan. That’s the only argument that matters.

But sure, keep calling people bad. I’m sure that goes great for your arguments.

Mages at all skill levels doesn’t mean “all mages.” For someone who loves to flex on others skill, you should really improve your reading comprehension skills.

Do you also need to be a master chef to know a burned cheese strip is bad?
