Emerald Dream :}!
AN, Azjol-Nerub.
My first two realms were Ner’Zhul Horde - and Crushridge Alliance (both PvP realms). My third realm was Echo Isles Horde (PvE). My fourth and fifth realms were Blackwater Raiders Alliance and Sentinels Alliance (RP-PvE). The latter became my solid home by the time TBC was coming up. (I still have characters on all but Crushridge, actually, as well as another half-dozen realms.)
I play Alliance side on Azjol-Nerub through WotLK. Nice to see a couple other people in this thread played there. Don’t see many people from that realm around here. At least as far as I’ve seen in these types of threads that pop up.
My guild cleared MC, Naxx, part of AQ40 (just Prophet Skeram - but I still remember the ring I got) and we went into Naxx (but couldn’t down Anub’arak or Instructor Razuvius). In PvP, I reached rank 8, Knight-Captain. I realised that I wasn’t going to get to the next rank when I progressed 3% the following week, so I stopped there.
I’m really hoping to be part of a guild that enjoys relearning and clearing content, from MC all the way to Naxxramas - and takes its damn time getting there. I don’t want to be 12 months in with people pushing and forcing progression. I expect to get to Naxxramas after a good, slow two years of gearing up and enjoying others’ company in raids, helping others in dungeons and with quests, and occasionally PvPing.
My original realm was Proudmoore-US. I rolled this character as Gaiwyn around late 2005 (I changed the name because I got sick of people mispronouncing it), but my first 60 toon was a Night Elf hunter, which I got Rok’delar on. I created him in April 2005 when my brother and I started playing the game. I never took him past Onyxia and MC, but levelled him as an alt through all expansions up until Legion.
We transferred our guild from Proudmoore to Nagrand, but I put half my toons on Cael (twin server). I think everyone else in my guild was Aussie though. It was always tough to find other Kiwi players. I’m hoping that in Classic WoW I’ll find other Kiwis who can play/raid at the same time as me.
I’ve been on Crushridge since I started back in August 2005.
Part of me is kind hoping that Classic has the server list from Vanilla. The possibility of all the old school players going on their original realms meeting up with old friends they forgot about sounds really neat to me. Even though I know that wont happen entirely. People will want to go on servers with their current friends.
I was in a guild called Firelords of Azeroth before my friend and I left over some guild drama. We never went very far into raiding as a guild, but some of my friends went on to raid in Kinsmen. I was always a lazy casual that just enjoyed running Strat/Scholo/UBRS and picking locks in Stormwind.
WoW was my first MMO too. Despite being an avid gamer, it was the first time I’d heard of this “EverQuest” game, but it seemed to be the benchmark for a lot of people at the time.
Wildhammer for Alliance then I to play Horde on Dunemaul
Mannoroth. And I don’t care what anyone says, we opened AQ gates first.
Started off on Terenas, due to server lag or w/e it prevented us from killing Nef in BWL so we server transferred to Ysera where we got him. Later on Some dbag Ninja’d the AQ gates opening in the middle of the night on Ysera. Don’t know who it was though.
Destromath server, HorsemenOfTheApocalypse baby!
Horde on Firetree and then Alliance on Maelstrom.
I got my start to wow on Emerald Dream before switching to The Underbogs and later Tichondrius. The guild I was in was Bearpaw clan or something another whos GM was a druid. Those were the days!
I have been an Uldumite since release, left to Shu’Halo for free at the start of BC, and came back prior to Wrath. Have played on multiple servers since (Eldre’thalas, Nazjatar, Alter of Storms, Turalyon, Antonidas post-merger) But my mains and max levels are all Uldumites.
me too

First Dalaran, then the Maelstrom when the RPPVP servers came out.
I played on Azgalor Alliance.
I live on the East Coast and started on Dark Iron because a West Coast schedule matched with my work schedule perfectly.
When that was no longer the case, I moved to Balnazzar until the realm died during our T5 progression efforts and we couldn’t find recruits anymore.
