I didn’t do a lot of PvP, so my knowledge of the Horde on Runetotem comes mostly from the forums (Soundwave, etc.)

The only PvP I really did was defend Astranaar. But there was an in-character reason for that LOL.

its probably been said, but check vanilafriends its a site to get people from old vanilla content back together

Not exactly! Only in spirit…

Shadow Council most of the time as Caratacus. I did level another on Blackwater Raiders when I wanted to be anonymous.

I did, despite not making it very far in that game I was enamored of the concept and when I heard this game was coming out I watched, wasn’t a fan of vanilla treatment of hybrids (especially as it was perceived at the time) so I waited for BC when a friend convinced me. Then she didn’t make alts or do anything with me other than occasional deadmines “runs,” she was too busy raiding Kara. Then a few other noob friends joined up and we owned warsong gulch for awhile all playing in the same room. Good times, they’ve all long since quit, like probably 10 years ago in most cases. I’m the only one of all my friends who’ve stuck with this game, and console junkies harass me for it all the time. I tried buying a console, it was a 1st person suckfest. I know where my bread is buttered. Oh yeah, it’s not Korialstasz anymore but that’s where I started.

I started on Scarlet Crusade too. Guild XdO

…Earthen Ring, RP. It is sadly a shadow of its former self.

Sen’jin was my sever. Was part of the “ noob invasion” of early ‘06.

Arthas-PvP for Horde (which is where my very first characters were from), and Lightbringer-PvE for Alliance. My first Alliance character was on Sargeras-PvP, but when my Arthas guildmates stopped playing on Sargeras (we wanted to try paladins), I didn’t feel like being on two PvP servers at once.

My Arthas and Lightbringer mains are still in WoW. I don’t play them, but I’ll keep them around for as long as WoW exists. I haven’t played on Arthas since Vanilla, and haven’t been on Lightbringer since the start of TBC.

I am not a gooshy type of man, but you make me want to hug a bunny after saying that. The memory is still strong for you. You know what would be very helpful in the current forum conversation? Tell us what you think about certain devs choosing patch 1.12, a patch that came out 22 months after the release of WoW in the USA. That would be 20 months after you began. Does patch 1.12 represent your memories of the almost two years of vanilla, or did patch 1.12 seem like a corruption of vanilla in preparation for 2.0?

Was on burning blade my I remember my first guilds were disciples of the watch and the foundation

Feathermoon.
PvPed a lot as a NElf Hunter, pulling R10 or R11. Setting ambushes and picking off stragglers. Goos times.

Sentinels. Then my wife took over my account (after I convinced her to play). When I got another account for some reason I rolled a new toon on a RP-PVP server (Lightninghoof). That character, “Shinri” has been my main character, and will be until Classic hits. Transferred that character to Sentinels right after TBC launched. Because I had to start a new toon, I was level 58 when TBC launched, my wife (playing on my original account) was raiding MC.

Cenarion Circle - RP. I was horde my first 6 or so months in the game and was in a guild called Perfect Circle. I then switched to Alliance (this character) to play with RL friends. The guild I led during vanilla was called Touch of God, which was later refounded during TBC as Wrath of God.
