Lohse’s candle scene in Divinity Original Sin 2. It was a masterpiece of storytelling and gave me goosebumps once you get to the end of it
“Temperance” ending after beating Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time. I played Cyberpunk while experiencing a life changing midlife crises and no video game ever hit me with the most emotional reassurance like that since. Probably never will again.
Recently, it was getting to play Tears of the Kingdom before any meaningful spoilers crossed my radar, and going down into the Depths for the first time.
I’ve read/watched a lot of thinkpieces on how the sense of adventure and exploration into vast, unknown places is gamer crack and we’re always chasing that high, which most of haven’t felt since childhood. Tears of the Kingdom gave me the purest hit of that euphoria I can ever remember feeling, even stronger than as a child, where one of my formative memories was being lost in the caves in Pokemon Red and Blue.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. You can either support Song Bird or turn against her. My first playthrough I turned against her and wowzers, what follows is some nerve wracking, pulse pounding excitement lol.
Yup. Can never forget. Phantom Liberty is IMO peak media. It was the perfect hybrid of storytelling similar to a good novel and the mix of cinematic flare of a high budget film. Both those endings stuck with me. Especially when you reach out to the Blackwall to help fight off the Feds. Unbelievable sequence.
They managed to make Lovecraftian horror feel modern and believable.
Gota be back in Cata when this priest and warrior try to gank me when i didnt attacks them fist on pvp server, i killed them both in one shadow dance
Too many to count, and not just from one place.
It’s all too easy to pick any number of moments from FFXIV, so I’ll go with something else:

If you know where that image is from, you know.
i still have remorse to this day because i thought it would be funny to recommend focusing on aeris hard to a friend of mine and he was extra mad when he figured what i had done lol
For a couple months my computer would randomly blue screen(ranging from 10 minutes on startup to every few days) during shadowlands, it happened in torghast a lot.
It would make this physical clicking sound which meant I had anywhere from 10 second to 10 minutes, that was probably the saving grace to the experience at least I knew it was coming and it was just a rush to try and finish the run before it did.
When i got mad at my mom for making me turn off my xbox and go outside.
When the Sticky Bug in Disco Elysium showed up.
Magni got completely turned to stone, as if he was “shut down”.
