Since we’re all reliving our memories this week…
Mines was in Uldum (Uldar? The level 40 dungeon in the Badlands). We were running a group thru that dungeon and our rogue tried to sneak up to one of the bosses (assumedly to pick his pockets), but he walk thru a fire, unstealthing him, causing him to aggro everything in the room!
It’s a lot funnier experienced than explained.
What was yours?
I was on vent with some guys in my first guild (awesome guys shoutout to Shadow Assassins of Eldre’Thalas horde). This was mid BC. One guy legit falls asleep and you can hear the heavy breathing so we start laughing but then our shaman says “damn guys sure is windy on vent tonight”. We lost it right then and there.
Bonus:
Same guild same shaman is leveling a hunter and wants an owl. Well the only way to get one is to travel from Durator to Night Elf land. This was quite the trek back in the day. So he gets his owl hearths back and asks me and the priest what should he name it. I say “OOOOO NAME HIM BACON” and the priest is like yea name him bacon. He does then says ok thats a stupid name how do I change it? We say dude you can’t you gotta get another owl. He says EFF that and NEVER plays the hunter again LOL.
I really miss those guys…
I have trouble remembering too far, but recently I dismounted someone with the net in Blackrock mountain and he fell in the lava. I got on my mount and watched him burn to death.
Then I waited for him to rez, and did it again.
