I don’t remember the server my first character I ever made was on, but I do remember Muradin being one of my first servers. Then I made another account to go onto Silvermoon, which later got connected with Mok’nathal. As an altoholic I made characters on both.
Eventually got tired of the low-medium pop so I server transferred my rogue that I’ve had since Cata and then started over with new characters on Stormrage for Alliance and then Area 52 for Horde.
Curious to know your guys server stories if you have any.
Stormreaver and nope. I went from there to Arygos to Aerie Peak to Mannoroth to Lothar to Thrall (back) to Aerie Peak (back) to Thrall to Moonguard (back) to Thrall.
I may have missed some… I am restless.
Yep Muradin was my first server, Horde side, and where I am still with my Horde toons. For Alliance Ive always been on Aerie Peak

Alexstrasza, then to Mal’ganis then to balnazaar, then i went to Illidan. then Stormreaver, then back to illidan , then to Emerald Dream. Been here for the most part and on Area52 occasionally .
Dalvengyr. Made the mistake of trusting Blizzard’s “Recommended” thing. I was new to MMOs at the time and didn’t really understand the concept of a server, or that Blizzard would intentionally try and stick me on a bad one if I trusted them.
Obviously I don’t play on it anymore. I actually play on like 4 different servers now, all of which are high pop. A couple years ago I logged on Dalvengyr and /who’d Stormwind just for luls, and I was literally the only player in the city.
I started off on Drak’thul in late Cataclysm, i have allot of good memories of that realm but its a smaller realm so me and my friends ended up moving to Emerald Dream alliance and then eventually moved to Moonguard this year and also play Horde on Wyrmrest Accord currently and we enjoy it allot
First one for me was Blackwater Raiders. I ran Alliance back then (now I play both). I still play those toons, and the Human Pally is actually still my main since '07.
Started doing Horde toons in Cata. I just picked Ysera because it was a high pop but not full at the time.
First server was Greymane. I don’t have any characters on it anymore. Second server was Thorium Brotherhood. I don’t have any characters on it anymore. Third server was Wyrmrest Accord. I have 20 characters there.

I moved off that server when TBC dropped and haven’t been back since.

the first server i rolled a character on was Grizzly Hills, and only because it was at the top of the Normal realms list for new players in 2008. played for about a day before finding which realm my clique was on and ended up on Terokkar
My very first ever realm was Cenarion Circle. My long time ago ex bf introduced me to the game in classic then I left, but came back around wrath of the Lich king,
Darrowmere was my home for a very long time. It was my favorite! It’s so … dead right now though it doesn’t feel like it did although there are still a couple of the older trolls still occupying the trade chat lol.
On Fenris right now mostly because it had a bunch of cool names available that I want to use.
Started out on Cenarius back during BC, rolled a horde blood elf hunter. Think I was there for about a year or two and then Blizzard announced new servers opening so I made the jump to Dawnbringer and changed to alliance.
First realm was Farstriders so long ago and no I do not nor ever will go back to it.
Shu’halo for my Horde char, Shadowsong for my Alliance.
Proudmoore, Alliance side is where all the Aussies from EQ went in 2004, and Blackrock Horde side.
Since the Oceanic Servers started I have transferred most of my Proudmoore characters to Dath or Khaz. I have a Warlock still on Proudmoore and I’ll bring her over soon.

Started back in TBC on The Forgotten Coast, it was a lot of fun back then but it died out slowly, I still have characters there but don’t really log into them. None of them are even max level I don’t think.
Still on Zangarmarsh… since 2007
I started Alliance on Terrokar. I had no idea how to play this game and everything was new and shiny. Looking back on that time, the people who became my friends on that server had insurmountable patience with me because I really did not know how to do anything. The folks I found on that server were wonderful, but sadly we lost touch a little bit after I made the move to Horde.
Hrm, maybe I should make an alli toon over there and run around for a bit…
