First fantasy/adventure… I’d say King’s Quest V probably.

First computer game I can recall would be Might & Magic 6, not long after I met my husband, so 2005/2006.

We didn’t have PC’s growing up, we didn’t have them in school, we had what I think were word processors, large machines with tiny screens.

Yep! We all rushed to get our class work done so we could die of dysentery. Lol

Everquest 1. My friend from school played it. And I got into it for like a week. Then I waited for WoW to come out. We knew about it while it was in dev even back then, If you where a MMO player that is. WoW came out like 2 weeks after I quit EQ1. Been here 20 years.

Dungeon Master by FTL on an Atari ST.

It had a lot of hard puzzles so If you got stuck you had to write a letter to PC Gamer and hope they printed an answer in the next months edition.

I believe Zork was an adaption of the original Adventure game.

Wizard101 was my first MMO and fantasy game. First computer game I ever played was a Finding Nemo game when I was 3.

The one I remember most is probably King’s Quest 3, playing at a friends house in the late 80s, possibly very early 90s.

Not counting Oregon Trail at school on the old Apple II, since when I think fantasy, I think high fantasy.

My first main frame game was Stellar Trek. Still have one of the ‘rolls’ of printout from the first game I won. Also did Ultima on the Apple 2+ (still have it). Lots of Atari Adventure at the same time. I’m old, not saying that makes you…

Me too, I was totally addicted, I didn’t grow up with video games, these were fantatic.

I actually logged into my GOG account when I got this new laptop a couple of weeks ago, and I had forgotten that I have all of them in my collection there! Purchased them in 2019 (had to look in my transaction history) for $6.96! I may have to download one for nostalgia!

Haha! Same, wicked wicked typing teacher too who would whack your hands with a stick if she caught you looking at the keys.

I didn’t have my own computer at the house until I was 17. I did play Oregon Trail at my friends house. Learned to type on a typewriter so I could use the keyboard better.

Wow was the reason I wanted a computer so bad. Haha

I had WoW before I had a computer. I downloaded it on a library computer in a corner that nobody was usually using.

Absolutely love that game. Best Atari 2600 game. I imagine it was groundbreaking when it was released.

I know none of you will probably have ever heard of this, since I’m way older than most of you.

When we bought our Commodore 64, we also got a game called [Se-Kaa of Assiah], a text-based adventure game. I never finished it, but always remembered this cover art:

Ultima 1… way back when, on a Commodore 64…

Ultima Online got me started on MMO when it was that or Everquest, those two were OG.

First game I have memory of watching was watching my Dad play Might and magic 6 mandate of heaven, and Lords of Magic.

My dad was also a big D&D nerd and eventually got me into playing wow to begin with.
