The Screwy Squirrel was always my favorite cartoons growing up but due to being politically correct the cartoon was eventually renamed

Tex Avery was pretty much the inspiration behind Mel Brooks so without Tex Avery there would be no Spaceballs or Blazing Saddles. Tex Avery was pretty much the original Mel Brooks. This of course intern led to the comedic Genius of Leslie Nielsen down the line
I looked up the cartoon after watching the clip. The history behind these cartoons is very in-depth, I was afraid to wikipedia all that information and jump down that rabbit hole so late.

Just came back from a pretty busy day and read all of this.
I feel a little badly to have received a mount. (But I love it!).
I cannot give it back as I learned it immediately.
So - next year - please hit me up and I will be good for two mounts for the drawing. My old guild used to do this and I miss it. Was always fun to see people get a mount!

Dont. Me and Grizzle discussed this tonight. We did all we could. We made several attempts to give the mount but the person didnt use the attempts. I can only do so much. Sooner or later you realize its a futile effort.

I really wish you’d stop misrepresenting me. You did a really nice thing with your giveaway but you keep saying things about me that even the timestamps in this topic show not to be true. I contacted you immediately, made a character on your server and added your battletag and you said the transfer would take place after 72hrs and it appeared that we were both good with that. You even posted that here. In the meantime it appears that you didn’t want to wait the 72hrs and wished to speed things up, but I was unavailable because I was busy working and dealing with family obligations that come with this time of year. I was not “AWOL for four days” as the time stamps and chat logs proved or ignoring anyone. There was an agreement that I thought I was more or less keeping to. If that didn’t work for you I’m cool with that. They’re yours to give away as you wish and I still think it’s a great thing that you did. I’m not the least bit worried about the mounts as I can easily afford them on my own. What does bother me is being misrepresented. Please stop this. Thank you.
Wow that is a whole lot of drama over someone just being very kind and giving away free stuff.

You have no idea. Before I semi-retired one of my workers at the office got into a heated debate with me that lasted 45 minutes. What started this debate? I moved the water cooler 5ft. In the end the only way I could end the conversation was just to smile and Nod and say “ok”

Could this have been a miscommunication, that the mount transfer was supposed to happen within 72 hrs, not after an interval of 72hrs?
