There are hidding meanings everywhere. The Mists of Pandaria werent just physical mists. The burning legion wasnt actually a bunch of romans on fire.

A war requires a protracted conflict. There was no protracted conflict in TWW. If this was a war, who was it against? Xal, who worked with us in Karesh? Or the single patch independent entities that both lost immediately?
Face it, the only way there was a war in this expansion is if you’re Danish and think a 6 hour conflict encompasses a war.
