The only thing I really grinded in this game straight for an entire expansion was the seeker of knowledge title
Started playing back in 2008, 2010 when the Love Rocket was put into the game…since then many many alts farmed though that place to finally get the Love Rocket this year on one of my alts…12 yrs …glad its freaking over now. The year they lowered it too lower level characters I had 35 characters I farmed it that year day in day out…
Prob some of the 1% items drops I got, be it mounts or transmogs
I got all the nighthold mounts over a few months, so prob them. The soo mount and tusks will be top of the list… when get them, be it the amount of time (a few years farming them) and how long the raid is
Quel’Serrar during Classic. I wasn’'t in a guild that ran Onyxia, so had to pay gold to a guild to tag along and get the sword breathed on, not to mention the amount of mats I had to acquire after getting lucky enough to get the drop in Dire Maul.
Either that, or Invincible lol
How many casts?
Probably one of the mage tower rewards. Mage armor from the timewalking frost mage challenge I guess. It’s certainly the most recent thing. Whether or not some of the original MT challenges were worse they’ve now surely been overshadowed.
Does classic count? Those stupid truestrike shoulders. Joined a raiding guild during BWL so the wanted me to as much prebis as possible. Ran that stupid place like 50 times in two weeks. It got to the point the guild felt so bad for me they started forming first boss spam groups. I saw them drop a like 3 times and lost them, one to a pally for his ret set. Eventually the first boss spam runs paid off…then that same night the drake talon shoulders dropped.
I was worried this chain would be difficult when I attempted it in classic, but the only mob that gave me issues with the Silithus rare. On my 3rd attempt I used a flask and other consumables and put him down fast.
I’m sure if I played a Hunter during vanilla and tried it, it wouldn’t have been so easy. Having 7/8 giantstalker really helped.
The legendary staff from Cata. I was a healer/dps so I was 3rd in line to get it and by the time DS came out everyone was DONE with firelands.
I had to pug the rest of my syphons and in the end we ended up killing heroic deathwing the week before I got it.
Was still really awesome but I just wish I had it on progression since I was dpsing on the final boss.
Yeah… gonna go ahead and say you Legion WQ exploited to do that. If you actually PvP’d that much to get it, you’d have pretty much every bg achievement. But… you don’t.
