Well, not anymore of course. We now get a false version of corrupted Wrathion in the new Ny’alotha raid which looks like Deathwing and even has Cataclysm™ abilities. N’zoth as a Boss shows visions of Deathwing during the encounter, in a manner similar to Yogg-Saron’s Visions inside his nasty brain.
Il’gynoth blurts out the plan before we even get to Ny’alotha by saying “From the earth he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength.” rather than saying “the Black Prince succumbed.”
It’s as if N’Zoth knew that Wrathion was incorruptible and that he’d need his doorward to take Wrathion’s form specifically which isn’t surprising considering he had help from Murozond who escaped the True End Time…
